I haven't watched Rise, and I can see Leo's face in Sonic's design. Also, I've always wanted to see Sonic do more classic Super Hero stuff like car chases and him pulling to the window and chatting away at the criminals like Spider-Man does he did it a little with the chase at the beginning of Sonic 2 but not enough, in my opinion

I love the way sonic talks reminds me of movie sonic but his voice reminds me of Jason Griffith and tails sounds like a girl he really just sounds like a girl I can't unhear that but sometimes it actually sounds like tails and i wouldn't change the voice actor and knuckles sounds like adventure knuckles I like that but then he sounds like an old man And Amy IS WRONG she sounds like a grown woman and she's canonically 12 she's too chill usually she's hyperactive and always trying to get sonics attention it's just Super unlike Amy to be this chill and relaxed is she an adult in sonic alter or like an teenager
