I’m a little late to the party… spent a few days away with hubby, and still playing catch up!! But these turned out beautifully Wendy… I’ve been saving some napkins to do some decoupage, but never thought to do it onto eco resin… so thanks so much for the inspiration!! I was just going to do it on some little wooden boxes… which I still will, but the thought of pouring your own pots, or trays to do it , is awesome!! Lotsa Luv. ♥️♥️🇦🇺

Thank you for trying these two out. I just bought black pigment powder for concrete and black acrylic ink to try. I tried black acrylic tube paint, which was a horror to try to get mixed in and left voids filled with tiny blobs of paint. The liquid paint was much easier to mix in, but not as concentrated a color. Also tried the JDiction ResinCrete Pigment, which in black is currently only available to me in the set of colors in a tiny 10ml dropper bottle. You have to use a LOT of the black to get black. This is one aspect of this material that is NOT making me happy compared to resin, which is so much easier to color! On the other hand, this material MARBLES so amazingly well, I adore it just for that!

Such a fun idea, Wendy. I don't think I would have ever thought of it. With a sandwich bag, I think I'll try it.

Please wear a particle mask when dry sanding. That dust is seriously hazardous. If you let the "crete" casting dry a couple of days to cure fully, you can then wet sand it with no ill effects for either of you. It dries right out afterwards, good as new.

Great video! I have used the vibration plate and love it for those molds that constantly create bubbles ❤

Fantastic video Wendy, I’ve heard of the vibration plates but not seen anyone use one. Those moulds are horrendous for bubbles but the plate did a great job! Beautiful little pot, love the little gems they finished it off a treat 👌❤️
