The music for this song was better live than the original album for some reason

Did this band ever sing their own songs or just boot legging other artists work. Never bought any Tafaaq albums looks like they just performed live?

Surjit Anakhi used be with them. When I bought tapes back in the day it always said on them in small print live broadcasting/performances unauthorised copying of material is prohibited. So this is a blatant copy and piracy without permission from Heera Group who sung the original on their album Diamonds From Heera. Musicians are awful

Lakhy Chumber - That’s Jas Bains (Jassa) with the perm on vocals he also played Dhol for them, he then joined Surjit and became Tafaaq, they later became Anakhi with Surjit the only vocalist, Jas later set up his own DJ Road show, seen him a few times, was brilliant to be honest, he now lives in Wales

Lost most of the footage for them as the file got corrupt on the SD card file transfering from my 12 mega pixel camera to PC during 2009, if I can recovery it, will try from computer shop, means taking my camera too them. In future looking to get a better Video camera as technology has evolved with a mic on it, so that audio doesn't get distored due to be near the bass from the huge DJ speakers.

Its amazing the breadth of the uk bhangra from traditional like the 70s and early 80s to the then funky mid 80s like heera and apna sangeet, then the bally sagoo banging bass sound to apache india to the rock sound and synth heavy new pardesi music machine to so much!!! Overload!!! Then talvin singh 2000s. Its crazy!!! Think ill eat some cherrys now got to stop thinking of that era.
