Bruh just bc Germany is called “fatherland” that doesn’t mean that Germany or any reich are a male bc first of all: fatherland means “land of our fathers” and second of all, during time of the German empire and after (before the rise of the nazis) Germany was referred as she/her and at same time was called fatherland. Basically saying: Germany as country was referred as she/her but at same time was being called “fatherland” and the same goes for motherland I think. Remember just bc a country is called fatherland/motherland (or are referred as she/her or he/him in some languages) that doesn’t make them having a gender at all. COUNTRIES HAS NO GENDER.
