It isn't a light machine compared with Electric models, but it also is not the heaviest Petrol machine. If you are spending time working with Conifers; I use it for that & often. I'd rather have the extra weight and better constant cut of the engine powering the blades. Than less power or torque of electric and a lighter or lesser machine. You can build up to using extensions over time if needed, and the slight bend or flex in them can be of use later on when you work up your arms, shoulders and core, and perhaps need a little blade bounce; to cut that awkward strand that is 4 Meters away. These 535LK's are beasts. So performance requires the weight. These are not unwieldly though. They are sporty but rugged. & they can go all day 5 days a week. (If you look after them.) I believe Stihl do carbon fibre extensions for their multi machine; but their prices are generally more than Huskies. & their stiffness and time may lead to cracks or breaks; let alone having to mollycoddle them for being carbon fibre. The blades that go with these, both the long reach and short hedge blade are EPIC. Used weekly all year around; great kit. Amazing cut. Lethal blades. Keep them away from metal or wire! ;) Hope that helps? We use at least a pair of these all year around. We do so for a reason. :)

I agree with you in many aspects regarding having power and sacrificing a little more weight, I am not a fan of electric machinery for intensive use. The reason for purchasing the 535LK is to combine it as a brush cutter for small jobs and at the same time for trimming conifers that in certain jobs require an effort to achieve with the 522HDR75X which is wonderful. I have the 555RXT but it is not the most suitable for small spaces. That being said, I will purchase the 535LK without a doubt. I am a Husqvarna user without disparaging any other brand. You are buying the right machine then. ;) We have the other machines you listed; and agree. All fine machines. The 535LK and attachments will fill in the smaller or long reach gaps your current kit list doesn't. 👍 Running the 535LK as a Strimmer and Brushcutter gives you loads of room to get busy. Check out one of our other videos about Strimmer Heads and running 16 strands of line with a 535LK. 😉😉

I tie a bungee cord in a loose knot around the handle/handgrip, so both ends of the bungee are able to hook onto the Backpack harness. Which has a few little strap loops on it already; that take the bungee hooks nicely and they stay put till it's time to down tools. Hope that helps? I still think it's a good machine and can hold it's own; with the additional benefits it has over traditional brush cutters. I've had to replace the flexi shaft once and that was due to it being very well used for a year. Just watch out for one failing on you. Mine nearly caught fire. ;) If you can run to the cost of one, and are going to get the use out of it; then go for it. I doubt you will regret it. Still my view many years later. For raw and brutal high revs and big load removal. The bigger Husqvarna forestry saw comes out. Unless it is on slopes or undulating or technical work. Then this is still my go to tool. We have a Makita 4 Stroke Backpack Flexi shaft strimmer. Which isn't bad, though not in the same league as this Stihl; or the Big Husky. (It's a bugger to get going for a start, but once fully warmed up and revving steady; it's a handy go between if you cannot afford the big boys and their cost.

"Drones are not permitted on any Anglian Water Park without the prior written consent by Anglian Water Services Ltd." The drone wasn't on their Land. It was 120m in the sky. Nor was it's TOAL from property/land; Anglian Water own. The TOAL was from public land & spaces/places. And flew through public air space. In VLOS. Controlled by the CAA, not owned NOR controlled by Anglian Water. The Drone IS insured with Public Liability. Registered and marked with legally required details. With ZERO FRZ issues on the Drones app, and Zero issues with TOAL due to SSI on same app. SSI's are not necessarily FRZ's. If it was RED zoned; the Drone wouldn't have gone up. It wasn't. Cottesmore/Barnack/Wittering will be FRZ'd and Red zoned. (Aircraft taking off/Landing/controlled air space/low flying aircraft/Military controlled/Restricted air space.) Rutland water is not. (Which is why so much footage and flights are available to view and enjoy.) No approval needed unless I want to take off from land they own and control, no issues to the SSI. (Dog walkers, cyclists and walkers are more of a problem in this respect than a drone at 120m high. Which I am fairly sure you are well aware of.) Please see ALL the other drone flight footage from BOTH Rutland water, and Grafham Water. Available on RUclips and many other sources. Hope you had a lovely weekend, enjoyed the weather and the Northern Lights if you caught them. & that you caught some of the other drone footage of the Northern Lights. My understanding was that flying over a SSSI was not permissible, especially if it’s a SSSI due to the potential impact on wildlife, such as birds. However, I’m sure you’ve done your homework and it’s good to know that drone flying over the reservoir is permitted within CAA legislation.

@@gl2773 Depends on the SSI and what it is in place for. & any responsible drone pilot is going to behave and fly safely and appropriately, respecting nature. As 9 out of 10 times; that's why we are in the air. To capture it or film it. I wouldn't fly near the Ospreys nesting sites; for obvious reasons. Also because they don't interest me; Red Kites are another matter though. :) & they are known for allowing you to fly with them if you know what you are doing and they are happy for you to share their space. If not; stay on the ground and well away; or know how to get your drone down fast. 😂 😂
