The only reason Megadeth is less popular than Metallica is because of James. James had to be right, even though he was wrong, and then Dave had to pay for it. I'm not saying Dave is perfect, not by any means. What I am saying is I like Megadeth more, and I love Dave as a person. Just because they aren't Metallica doesn't mean theyre garbage.
The only reason they're less popular is because they didnt release an album first. Metallica had 2 years on them in a new genre wnd that gave them a headstart on every other band. Plus kimb had bad production which didnt help. By then metallica was too hype for others to be noticed.
