Mines doing the same thing. 3 years old. Seems like something i can tackle. Anyone ever find a source for the fan?
awesome, easy Peezy. Thanks man that’s great that it’s already pre-wired. I guess you just have to get a program with Forscan, and done. What’s the cost to get a programed???
Where did you get that from the top or bottom?
fire your cameraman, no one care about pos honda civic. Stop showing the car.
Thank you for sharing!! Helped me install my controller!
Part number for the controller?
Where did you find that
I took mine apart and mine sounds the same. Did you replace the whole fan? Just add a piece?
Thanks man. I really needed this.
Part number?
hi. where is that located/ I cant tell from the short video how /where u removed that from
Hahaha. Let's take the whole dash apart. Lol
how many miles on vehicle b4 they usually go out
Can't say. I was able to tell by the power and speed. if one fan is spinning slower than the other side that could be a sign that your fans need replacing. also you might consider going to "Ford.com" to check for recalls, to do that go to "Ford.com" then click on "Support & Service" then scroll to "Recalls" and click on it, next you'll want to enter your "VIN" for a detailed recall report on you Ford. I know that they had a recall on the fan speed controller. If your vehicle does have this recall, you can just call your local dealership and schedule a date. "FYI" Recalls are free to get serviced! I hope you get those fans fixed!
Really wish you would have showed how much pressure you can put on these trim pieces to pull those clips, because I’m scared I’m going to break everything
You can put a good amount of pressure when pulling, because they are held by plastic clips. though they do have a tendency to go flying, but they are pretty cheap on amazon if needed. I hope that helps you out!
Yup you found the problem, its a Samsung. All of them are TRASH.
I’ve had mine for less than a year and the fan is failing on me already. Shit design
Did you install air ride on your expedition?
I am not seeing the IPC option on my forscan. Is there something that I am doing wrong?
Do you have to have your PCM flashed after the install? I had to with my ram.
I did not with my expedition
By the time you pull that ridiculous overgrown tool out the box and get it ready, I will have both springs out..
Did your FORScan work with the break gain ? I keep getting an error at 75 % then Fails
Yes it did for me, but I'm sorry to hear that your Vehicle is having trouble. If it continues I recommend you consult your local Ford and/or Lincoln dealer for help! Hope it will soon work out for you👍
Great easy video. Nice job. Did you have to add a seven pin connection or does the 2019 come already wired with a seven pin trailer connection?
Mine had both a three prong and eleven prong but you can find out by checking your tow hitch. On the back of your vehicle there is a cover on the bumper. on the bottom of the cover there is a slot to place your fingers pull on that gently and that will uncover your tow hitch, if you look on left side of your hitch you will find the towing plugs. Hope this helps you, and I hope you like the video
I can only find the part for a 2020 Expedition. Do you have the part number for the Brake Controller for the 2019 Expedition?
2018-2021 are the same generation's so it doesn't matter
Damn bro good job saved me some money to do it myself
Glad to here, every penny helps👍
Do you have the part number for this?
I do not have the exact number but you can find the licensed product at parts.ford.com
How long did this tske you? As fast as this video? Not sure if you cut parts of it out
Took about that time plus 5 minutes
About five or ten minutes longer than the video
Pruebenlo con un amortiguador grande, como el de alguna minivan Chrysler o GMC.
No explicas dónde están los tornillos
What do you have to do to program the vehicle to make it work?? (you mention standby for fordscan)
There is a program you can purchase, the name is "Forscan" from there you can find plenty of videos to help you, I didn't show this part because if it doesn't work I don't want to be held responsible
I can't find your video on the fordscan instructions..
I did not make one for fear of it doesn't work and I get held responsible, but there are plenty of videos to help you with the "Forscan" program
Where you get the part from and price
Cool Video! Good luck with your channel!
Thanks!
where's the fordscan part?
There is a program you can purchase, the name is "Forscan" from there you can find plenty of videos to help you, I didn't show this part because if it doesn't work I don't want to be held responsible
Was that a replacement or and addition?
The product was an additional and you can find it at parts.ford.com
Powerbuilt, making tool even this idiot can use wrong and live to tell the tale.
Thank You from Long Island NY
You are welcome glad you enjoyed it
I just bought the Powerbuilt Strut Tool and Strut Coil Compressor Kit - 641429 from Amazon $180.00 plus tax. My town car needs front struts at 211,000 miles I can feel it needs it. I'm buying OEM it will be more money but longer lasting and get the lincoln ride that I love. Thanks......
You're welcome I'm glad it helped
I thought Lincoln’s were air ride!
@@zachsheffield1325 Yes the rear suspension has air shocks. The front is regular suspension. The only car with front and rear air suspension was Cadillac. Hint phrase rides like a Cadillac
this tool has very poor clearance through the middle, rest in peace bellows </3
Cameraman is in the wrong spot if it decides to not work
Do u have the link to buy this tool on Amazon
Yes, here is the link www.amazon.com/Powerbuilt-641429-Tool-Strut-Coil/dp/B00OCEGONM/ref=sr_1_3?crid=226V32XGJJI5X&dchild=1&keywords=powerbuilt+strut+coil+compressor&qid=1626134581&sprefix=Power+bulit+str%2Caps%2C221&sr=8-3
The wire supposed to loop into the coil spring, then connected to the other hole on the same clamp jaw. Not the other jaw. Just saying.
That makes sense. Thanks. Going to try this - first time - today.
Thanxz for sharing
My pleasure 😊
The manual calls for securing the compressor to a table vice or something so it does not move around. The little metal extension on the shaft of the compressor is where you secure it to the vice. I am glad it held up. I was worried a bit when I saw that it was not secured. Coming out of these fixes with all limbs intact is priceless for sure. Thanks for the video.
Do you get the $200 back when you bring it back
Yes just did mine
Yes I did
