Through focus areas Food security, Education, and Restoration, we provide tools to individuals and support for families which over time leads to empowerment for a community, establishing itself holistically. We call this the Ubuntu 360 approach.
Food Security:
Ensuring people have food to eat is our first priority when looking at our holistic approach to community building and people empowerment.
Education:
A foundational element of sustainability is education - both for children and adults. HEF gets involve as early as possible.
Restoration:
Restoration and rehabilitation programs are pivotal in the holistic empowerment of people of all ages. Crime is reduced and hope is given.
Driven by Love and Compassion, our sole Purpose and Mission is to HOLISTICALLY Change the Circumstances of People and Communities to Empower Them.

Responding to the Jagersfontein disaster where 100’s of families were displaced losing homes and belongings. When a dam at a diamond mine burst in September it coated houses, cars and possessions in about 7km of muck. Two people have died. HEF responded to the plea from the Haven of Rest and with the help of Dis-Chem Foundation, installed a water filtration system. Now this facility which caters for 150 people, will have a permanent supply of clean water.
