Me too. it's a requirement for the mermaid cave keys from past and present time in the game. I would like to do some side quests for those keys instead of this one HECK of a mini game

I don't know for sure maybe in Link's awakening but Link can jump on his own in other Zelda games in some Zelda games like this one u have to used the Feather to make Link jump. I hope this helps. Thanks for the question
