Where can we find salvaged Mercedes Benz gullwing 300sl?
Nice 👍
Beautiful cars in an excellent location ❤
Ah the Vespa Sportique Supreme you've made a brilliant job of yours well done, two of my mates bought them in 1963. It was about the time they first came on the market, one had silver and chrome the other was gold and chrome very smart looking models. I myself at the time had the standard model in Wessex red paintwork, and i now have two Sportiques now one is being restored by myself and one that will need restoring at a later date.
hi dear I am looking for 300sl gullwing project and Duesenberg model j 2 door project for restored . Please contact me if there is something you are looking for. Thank you
Oooo-gly ! But I love all old scooters.
Gostei
My love to this baby❤❤❤
These years of the hurricane great bikes but the fully enclosed body work looks like shit to me. I want to see frame between tank and fairing, cut that fairing and it would look like sport bike not some sci fi show crap at a future looking bike
What a stunning example... I'm looking for one in Australia. These engines seem to last forever.
Best colours still for sale then
Sencillamente hermosa. Yo tengo la TV175 modelo 1963
Cool
Wish there was more info on it.
Cool
I just rescued one of these, its in rough shape i donno where to start
Dje to ima da se kupi❤

Piękna maszyna a ten dźwięk silnika.......
I was there all day filming and taking photo's, great turn out
Nice video, but the red and white connectors are RCA plugs. The 5 pin connector is a DIN connector.
Appreciate the video so much
Hello, have you any spares? I need swing arm spindles and a handlebar clamp for this model. Many thanks
Have you tried the DKR group on Facebook?
@@caveclassics9834 I shall look it up, many thanks.
Class 👍👊
I really, really wanted one when they were new, but a mortgage and kids stopped me. I've now just bought a 1990 model in the same colours, 26k miles from new in fabulous condition. Beautiful to look at, beautiful to ride and a hell of a lot of motorcycle for £1900, I'll never sell her.
Please send us a small video, it would be great to see the beauty
@@caveclassics9834 Ok will do, thanks for that.
My vater have this Moto on Blue color
I have the 91 version in the same condition all stickers attached red and black....fabulous bike 700 miles in one day easy...also not for sale...🤣🤣🤣
Me and my buddies used to drool over his neighbours cbr back in 89 90.we were boys back then and couldnt even dream of ever owning such a beast.that blue seat just topped off the bike for me
I saw my first in a bike shop, brand new and just fell in love with it...but couldn't afford it back then
no such thing as a mk1 ghia
just about to write that when i saw your comment, ghia was a mk 2 option not sure but about 1976
Restored \\0//
Had the same model, year and colour. Lived in the Netherlands at the time, big miles touring to Germany, South of France. Motorway cruising at 125 / 130 mph (before camera's on the roads). Totally stable and so relaxing to drive at high speed, sheer delight. One of the best bikes to do large distances.
The 1940's called.. they want their scooter back.
The problem is original isn't actually original. It's 60 to 70 year old leather, paint, rubber, steel and castings that look nothing like the factory new original. It will be faded, degraded, perished, corroded and worn. That's not to say original doesn't have value. It most definitely does. All too often replacements are not in fact good copies of the original either. For example my 1972 Mercedes still has it's original leather upholstery. This upholstery is rarely duplicated properly because it's a specially patterned leather. So I will try to preserve the interior as best as possible. But mechanical things can't be preserved. Rubber and many components must be replaced or the car will cease to operate safely if at all. Ultimately now we are looking at long term preservation for 100 years and longer. The only way to preserve a driving operating vehicle is in my opinion to carefully deconstruct and properly and sensitively restore. Chrome isn't simply a pretty paint. It's a protective coating. Long term there isn't really any choice.
Nice scooter it's not only a dove but a dove MK1,you can tell by the aluminium footboards, I had one of these as my daily bike to go to work on in the '90's until someone pinched it in '96, the funny thing is that the only thing I had left was a spare panel knob but I gave it to a local vintage scooter bloke. It's possible to cast these in resin if you can get hold of one as a pattern, but looking at the scooter that's one of the minor problems.
Beauty
Back in the 80's I bought a new 1987 Honda CBR1000F Hurricane w/the rare Monza Red/Black color scheme. Had a lot of fun w/that bike during the last few yrs. of the 80's. At that time I owned a summer seasonal beach house about a 2 hour drive away. That bike was so comfortable on the highway that I never had to pull over for a stretching break. It put the new 2 yr old Kawasaki Ninja on notice for a couple of years. That new Hurricane model brought so much attention around me as a 25 yr old. These CBR1000's are great bikes.
what a stupid question?
Very classic....I love Vespa (from Balikpapan city -Indonesia)
Sorry but these should be on the street not a museum.
Totally agree
Original, but cared for. The first one has not been cared for, it's just been sitting. I'd rather see one where you can see that it has been living, but both of these are "dead". The first one can be cleaned, serviced, pampered to get it to life again. The second one needs to be used, and slightly abused. Jay Leno's SL 300 lives, is driven, and shows it's age and scars.
Ok something I did not no
can you tell the name of the museum
It's a Private collection in Portugal, unfortunately only a few people get to go in.
Nice bike, I had a DKR Dove Mk 1 in the 90s, it was my daily ride to work.
Pleanty of Air Vents i see for the engine .Thats what my BSA Sunbeam twin need.s ??
