Looks like you did alright on that saw. I have two identical top handle Ecco saws from that era. Don't use them anymore but I'm confident I could get them started as they were always easy to start.

Yes it is. It originally had a pto but converted it to the motor. Still have the pto for it.

Yep it's about hay season! First cutting is usually the most weight. It will be 120° in the hay loft and extremely dusty. My forearms will be raw from flipping bales up on them. And will blow out black snot for the rest of the season. I LOVE IT! Every minute of it!

So what is the ratio of sap to make syrup nowdays? Lot of work to it. Nothing better than homemade hot syrup on hot buttered pancakes! Good eating! Thanks for your hard work guys.
