As a Somali watching this from the US, it gives me memories of being in Mombasa in the early 90s, I remember drinking a milk with this town's name on it, perhaps from a dairy farm in this town. This side of Kenya is beautiful and clean, would love to revisit.

Thank you boss you have responded to my request as i'm aiming to bring my family to kwale town toward end of the year but the the place looks as though its rural and didnt see any empressive buildings and shopping centres!!! While i enjoy rural life my kids used life in fast moving cities in the uk and don't know if they will adopt.

As a Kenyan you can do better and blame bloodthirst racist leaders. Wagalla could happen to any tribe in Kenya but since it happened to Somalis lets somehow look ways to minimize it and claim it as clan conflicts. Killings, shootings, tortures, rapes & dehumanization was all done by non Somali army of kenya in the command of the president of kenya. Stand up to injustice even if its not happening to you or to your people

Just to correct you my friend, Kikuyu is not a clan but a tribe like Somali. Bantu is the equivalence of Cushite for example Bantu tribes differ slightly in ethnic DNA, language and culture same as Cushities Somalis, Oromos & Afars are related but differ in language,dna & culture. Also you are telling the Wagalla massacre from Moi supporters POV which may sound a bit unfair to the victims we lost to it. Wagalla 2.0 was to happen in Garissa primary compound until the Somali govt intervened. We can blame bloodthirst Moi for it and move on instead of minimizing the massacre to clan conflicts.
