Just came across this video on my feed. I'm amazed at how natural these toppers look, and how beautiful they are on you. Thanks for sharing with honesty, and helping out us ladies! I have some tension alopecia from years of pulling my hair back tightly, but my hair is very thick so I can cover it naturally now.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve bought three toppers from Uniwigs but not these. Still struggling with Savannah:). How do you style toppers after washing and what products do you use?
I style them just like my regular hair. I let them air dry and then brush them out and curl them or straighten as needed. I try to limit how often I do this and don't wash it often either. I try to keep products OUT of the topper and only on my natural hair. The less products on the topper the better in my opinion!

Out of all the soldier home comings I have watched that is the first one I have seen where the spouse didn't hug and kiss their spouse. Wow!
I'm surprised at some of these homecoming videos where almost the entire thing is video of mom killing time with the kids then maybe the returning soldier gets a minute if he's lucky at the end of the video. Would rather have seen photos of mom, DAD, and the kids at the end instead of mom. Sorry, I know military wives sacrifice but if it wasn't for the soldier there wouldn't be a video.
First, these aren't soldiers - that's the Army. This is a Marine Corps reunion, so he is a Marine. I haven't seen this video in years, but came on here to show my kids now that they are older. I'm the mom killing time with kids in the video, and that was my husband. Maybe a different perspective will help you understand what happens and why these videos are taken. We get a window of time when they will show up, but it's not precise due to OpSec. We only know for sure when they will be home when they finally get off the airplane and onto the bus headed back to the military base. There is a lot of nervous energy that day - kids and spouses haven't seen their partners in months, sometimes years. You spent the time they were gone with all the families in the videos and you may not see most of them again because the. next deployment will be with different people. You want to keep the memories of this slice in time, but most of all you want to see the expression on your kids faces and the faces of people you love at the moment they see each other again. It brings back a flood of memories, the happiness, joy and relief on everyone's faces; all the work you went through was in anticipation of this exact moment. Not the moments after... did you want to see long drawn out videos of guys grabbing gear, loading and sorting it, the intimate moments of the families as they reunited and everyone let their guard down and shared the stress of the separation? Changing diapers, washing dishes, figuring out where ALL the gear goes again? The PTSD? The nightmares? The stress as everyone grew in different directions while apart and had to consciously reintegrate and relearn each other again? To say that only the military member sacrifices also says that you know very little about military life. It involves the entire family in ways you can't possibly imagine unless you've lived through it. Last, but not least, that video was never made for you. It was made for me, and for my kids. For my family. I wanted a snapshot in time that I might never get again, because he might not have come home the same way the next time. That reunion would have been with a casket and grieving kids. If you want to see what happens next, join the military and find out.

I've watched a lot of these, enjoy them very much. I didn't care for this one so much. Almost the entire vid was about the wife, only a few non-descript images of the soldier. Only one focused one on him at the END. Well, guess it's her memory about her...
It’s probably because the little girl was tired and she looked overwhelmed at this man kissing her mom. Happens in quite a few of these videos that I have watched. Welcome home soldier.
@@joanieb641 You totally missed my point. It's the narcissist mom "look at me!" who hogged almost the entire video. Made it about HER more than her child--or even her husband! He gets almost NO screen time.
