I like the 2nd version too, but somehow after hearing the Emotions version, I miss the female singing part 😭

@ Akira Yamaoka. has made some of the best game soundtracks. Τώρα που το remake είχε κάνει τόσο καλά, θέλω να δω τι αλλά projects η Konami θα δώσει το green light για το revival του Silent Hill.

The first 21 seconds are so beautiful. The eeriness of the new version mixed with the nostalgic guitar, it's just so good. Edit: I also like 2:17 as well

Seeing my neiborhood banging his head hearing this without knowing its a soundtrack from a game. Make me crazy because they heard this many time in 1 day
If you add the guitar from the original to the remake version, you'll get the same effect.
TBH, I prefer the acoustic guitar for the melody. IDK, but it feels right to start a melody with a soft instrument and then kick it up a notch with heavier instruments (like electric guitar, drums, base, etc.)

Really interesting to hear just how close the two are to each other. It's nuts how much different Pragma manages to feel in spite of that.
This is why I wanted to see how they sound together. It's the same theme but you get a very different feeling from each version!
