hi great video, how did u manage to get in pass the barbed wire fencing?

I mean sure its batshit insane to make a bunker like that, but I kinda like it. It seems like a cool place 20-40 years ago. I think its more insane to just let it turn rancid and moldy like that.

I viewed this with mixed emotions, I am glad that there is a new hospital on the site, but for those of us like myself who worked at Heatherwood Hospital, well I can visualise it as it was and not as it was filmed, I can still recall some of the staff who worked so diligently to keep the hospital running and not just the medical teams but the estates department the porters and the volunteers that played a big part in keep the grand old hospital ticking over on a shoestring. And remember the first bit of your film, well you were walking in the footsteps of the Carry On team to think Carry On Matron was filmed in that building before the first patients stepped foot inside the place. To the old Heatherwood Hospital 1922-2023 ❤

Always saddens me to see the demise of a church-particularly of a Catholic Church,because as a Catholic myself,I can appreciate the fact that the building and the ground are Consecrated,in spite of this,the site will probably be demolished,in the not-too-distant future and a block of flats,or a row of new houses,built in its place ??

Hi! Do you have the address for the abandoned hospital?

We must of just missed you, went down there as well, what you saw there are 2 out of 4 entrances. You found the two southern entrances, about 250m above that is the vent entrance and about 200m above that again is the 4th entrance which is a possible access point but is most likely welded shut.

Good job exploring the area, it's a very interesting site, though as far as I'm aware some company has successfully received planning permission to work on the site, probably will be renovated soon.

Truly repugnant. My wife and I went to Mass at Our Lady of the Forest for twenty five years. It was a great blessing for us and there was always a priest to offer Holy Mass. We left Forest Row in June 2009. Not a word of protest from you. Don't you have even a drop of respect?
