San Gimignano is about 25 miles from both Florence and Siena. Strongly recommend to spend half day in San Gimignano when you travel from Florence to Siena or, vice versa. Don't forget to try the "World most famous gelato" in San Gimignano 4:21

Siena is such a marvelous city of Italy. Suggest to spend two days to wander around this medieval city. There are so much to see.
