Hi and thanks for watching! 🥰 It depends on what you're looking to enjoy. I find that Lan Hot Pot can be a more wholesome meal, since the soup base is more of a clear broth type. For Dookki, it can be a more indulgent meal since the base of the Tteokbokki is more of a sauce than a soup, and the tteokbokki itself is heavier on the tummy. For the cooked food selection, they both feature fried options, so I would say it's a tie and will depend on which ulam you prefer. Lan Hot Pot features simpler marinades on their frying station, while Dookki has more heavily seasoned ready to eat dishes, specifically the Korean fried chicken selection.

Depende siguro sa floor plan na mas ok for you... Yung sa Four Seasons kunwari, mas open floor plan kaya malawak tignan. Dito sa Vikings Gateway 2, pahaba yung nakuha nilang floor space. Pero more on maraming partitions to give the illusion of privacy, kaya nagmukhang masikip tuloy.

Hello po! Not sure sa Timog branch, kasi huli naming punta diyan pa-pasko na at maraming Christmas party, so mas ok may reservation. Pero sa Banawe branch, naka-ilang punta na po kami ng tanghali na walk-in ng hindi holiday season, and nakakuha naman ng table agad.

Ok rin po na yung Gateway 2 mas maraming resto kaysa retail stores. Para pag may ganap sa Araneta Coliseum, hindi hirap humanap ng makakainan. 😃 Tsaka malaki na ang food selection sa Cubao area. Dati nung 90's di uso sa Cubao ang Thai, Vietnamese, Singaporean. 😅

Parang mabilis naman po. Naka-ilang ikot po ako, at di ko naman nakita na walang laman yung tempura. Tsaka habang nagvi-video ako, nadadaanan ko sa iba't ibang section yung staff na nagre-refill. 😄

Yung amin kasi dahil opening day mismo and di pa sila open for lunch nun, nagpalista na kami ng 1pm and we were already no. 58 by then. If you get on the waitlist, I wouldn't recommend wandering. Pag crowded na sa labas, they just call out 3 times. Pag wala dun mismo yung representative niyo man lang, they will skip. And they start calling out at 5pm.

@@matromaonila When we went there, the refill was slow for the meats and seafood so majority of the time it seemed like the options was just the balls and vegs so I do relate to the comment. It was full house on a weekend but still other hot pots dont have that problem.

@@gissneric I personally haven't gone back yet. Pero kung ganon nga, refills for raw items should be fast considering there's not much prep to them. Sad to hear that you experienced this!

Hmm... I don't know where they sell bird's nest these days. Just the bottled ones in a mildly sweet syrup that come from Singapore called Brands.

Hi! The grilled meats didn't take that long. Maybe around 10 minutes, since they continuously grill them outdoors. The galbis have a bit of a "lutong bahay" taste to them, but not in a bad way. They are not too salty or greasy, and I imagine they would taste that way if you go over to a Korean friend's house and they make it for you.
