OH I KNOW, I thought so too but it turns out it's damage from the windup on the rolling sparks right before you aim at the ground so it looks like it's 2 shots, but it's all 1!

@HMONGRY no clearly you can see double L2 attacks, wind up only does 1 dmg, I use this weapon myself

You can still hit enemies that are dead to even triple initial dmg

@HMONGRY not hating lol just saying there was two L2 attacks 20k dmg was the max I could get as well, best example would be all knowing boss from Table grace, upon killing him you can keep stacking dmg up to the roof even tho he is dead

The ash of war rolling sparks if you aim it all at the ground it will stack then every hit will stack onto the person really good for pvp too people just rush and you can take a hit or two but they cant

Rolling Sparks Ash of War - eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Ash+of+War:+Rolling+Sparks You press L2 but you have to unlock targeting and aim at the floor to proc the damage correctly, otherwise the ash of war hits for only a few hundred damage.

@@ganusmuschib9325 because of the rakshasha armor and blood physick, it's basically diet redstone tear ring from previous souls games you do still have to know the boss patterns because even with a lvl 300 toon, you will get 2 shot

Lol my toon here was originally a faith/str build but I got too many runes from PVP and decided to level up right before the DLC. It would've been boring to watch me for 10 mins holding Fingershield up and poke with a +10 Vykes 😈

what do you mean by this? where are the lines drawn between original and online build? if you use the same weapon as someone online does it invalidate your own playthrough? we would all be using erdtree steel daggers and clubs.

@@numbingcactus153 I'm assuming you're running the buffs from the build as well or your damage wouldn't be that high, simple observation

​@@rixosuxveAny bottle will do good, though lightning is the most popular. The ash of war has a ton of hit boxes, so if you aim it at the ground, every hit box will hit the boss doing massive damage. Add a bunch of damage buffs, and you have yourself a one shot build.

That's what I thought too! It turns out it's from the windup on the roaring sparks that does a little bit of damage before the floor hitbox causes the ash of war to do all the damage! It was happening on all of the other bosses too when I was confident enough to solo without the help of the mimic tear.

Lightning Jar Weapon from the DLC plus Roaring Spark ash of war. Black Dumpling helmet Rakshasha Armor (DLC) Lightning Talisman Perfumer Talisman Shard of Alexander Bloodsucking Physick Tear (DLC) Use the Roaring Sparks ash of war with the Lightning Jars and make sure to disable lock on so you can manually aim at the ground. Aiming at the ground causes the ash of war effect to happen all at once to create the damage

Did you have at least 10 faith? If you don't have 10 faith Selen won't give you the prayer ring. You can also kill Saint Urbain or trade Large Sword of Moonlight to Sparky the Crow for it. Let me know if that helped!

Ya no problem! Besides the shortcuts, the rest is all luck on the stupid cactaur gates, those have screwed me more than anything

It does but only in the first playthrough and you have to keep the NPC Biorr alive. When you get to new game+, the dragon hits Biorr for too much damage.
