My struggles aren’t even remotely severe as what many others have gone through but man does it ever eat away at me. Often think of killing myself, wish I could exchange my life for one of the friends that I’ve lost in my life. They had wayyy more value to society then I’ll ever have. I know I should look at it in a view of being grateful and to love life for them but I have constantly caused bigger issues resulting in the fuck up that I am today. Pride, jealousy, anger, stubbornness… my worst enemy is myself, I’ve often been the blight in my surroundings. I’m scared to die but I know that the worlds better with out me. I’m a failure. A loser.

Damn Jocko! This brought me to tears! I losing my dad due to dementia/depression since 2021. I lost my brother in December 2022 and next year I lost my best friend as well. I’m struggling mentally, physically and financially. This gives me hope! Thanks man…..

Got a child with a girl i was with for 6 years, she broke upp with me and gave me full custody, she got some medication from the doctors and overdoesed, the child is 4 now, what do you say to a 4 year old who ask where hes mom is? this is 6 months ago, last year 3 of my best friends killed themselfe to, we knew each other for over 20 years. i feel empty, but im trying, your videos gives me hope. i dont know why i wrote this i usually dont talk about it at all.

I just wanted to come by here and leave this for someone who was here as I was a few months ago. I was originally here, because I was lost more than I've ever been. Drinking daily, anywhere I went. Destroying the relationship with my son, drowning in debt, stuck. I've thought a few times to take my own life but never did because my boy needs a dad. I lost 2 perfectly good families (relationships) my son enjoyed and bonded too. I had nothing left. I had no energy to try, I had no sight to the end picture. I just thought life was useless and there wasn't a point anymore. So, fast forward a few months of trying and failing. Today, I've been sober for 2 months now. I've quit smoking. I hit the gym 4-6days a week after work, even though it can brutally suck. I, fuckin, do, it. I'm closer than ever with my son now. I have nothing but pure raw energy and life in me. I'm pushed by my own failures and darkness. I've learned to harness what I hate about myself to become who I truly desire to be. I've gotten out of debt, I go where I want with my son and friends now and all I do is look back and admire that it all happened. That I learned, that I grew. I survived, and now I only hope to help someone who doesn't think they can't. You've got this. I'm here for you. We all are.
