I tried to experiment with editing in this video by using the pc version of capcut, when I haven't edited on a computer in probably two years. Anyway, it's nice to be playing piggy again. I hope you all enjoy this video!
It's a little too short in my opinion and it feels like it was intended to be way darker from the teaser trailer. Something definitely changed mid production and they decided to go with a way less darker story. Which makes Octo-Expansion still the best story given I enjoy when this franchise decides to be dark. On top of that I still prefer Octo-Expansions aesthetic over Side-Order. I would have preferred TarTar to be a returning villain or at the very least a reveal that Order was or is connected to TarTar because Order feels a little out of nowhere. In the logs it's stated marina used some of kamabo cos data to create the memverse. Making it completely possible for a backup of TarTar to slip in. Now focused primarily on vengeance rather than attempting to create a worthy civilization. It feels like they watered the tone down a little too much given Octo-Expansion but I still feel like Side Order could have worked way better if it built on the dark tone of Octo-Expansion. It also feels like it could have been way longer rather than solely focusing on just replayability with a different weapon.
Honestlt i dont think tartar should have returned, but they could have done literally anything else and the story would still be better than what we got. Also doesnt help that Acht got shafted
