Ms Lawrence was the best councilor ever & Mrs Moore was the best teacher ever !
I went to this school in 1980. I was in 4th grade then, and it was my favorite of all the elementary schools I studied in. My teacher was Mrs. Newell. She was also my favorite elementary school teacher.
I went there K-3. Left it in 1976. Mrs Wyman, Mrs Mckeon, Mrs Gordon and Mrs Middleton, Mrs Lesser. ..ugh she was mean lol
This is wild! I have no memory of them even filming that childcare scene. Or anything about this. So crazy!
I am the “ I was from Korea” girl. Crazy to find this video.
Waw
Does anyone know the teacher at 9:38? She made a huge impact on the life of my friend and he wants to reach out to her to thank her but can't remember her name.
I go to mantua
then we go to Mr poe 😬
OMG!!! I'm in 23:38!!!! I was a freshmen then!!!
IM IN THIS SCHOOL
Went here shit school
It doesn't seem that long ago. These kids are now in their 40s.
Wow!! Great video! I wasn’t born yet! I went to Oakton Elementary! Not Vienna! Plus, I used to come to this school a lot! When I was young
I went to this school for my 7th grade, i moved the next year and left so many life opportunities behind, it feels more true after watching this. I Recommend this school
i used to go there
Covid run sucks fr fr I used to go there for 3 years
This is really interesting, thank you for your work
Im in Holmes middle school
Lee HS grad 1982! Sharing my hometown with musician Dave Grohl!
hi a girl there might be selling crack in pg county beware 🔥
Was at Olde Creek 1986-1988. I think my teachers (Mr. Porter, Ms. Batchelder) were gone by 1989. Wish this video was just a couple years older. Would love to see how we looked back then. Also the art teacher - Mr. T! 😄
Funny how they were so quick to produce this. A shameful and disgusting act by a few elites. So unpopular that they refused to release the results of a public poll and the main woman behind this and other changes forced the change though, hiding it from the public and making sure the final "vote" was not public and you had to sign up - finished before election and then refused to run for reelection. I'd like to know how much donations to booster clubs are down .
Mr swagger ant got nun on dis
School from class of '09 🙏🙏
B r u h 😭
I couldn't have described this experience any better, almost every detail is exactly as I remember. I knew both Joe and Sharon, but I was younger, so I knew their younger siblings better. All the racial culture of Alexandria was exactly as they described. Hard to believe so much has transpired in our lifetime. The separate bathrooms and drinking fountains, having to make special accommodations at times to satisfy the racial norms. I switched to an integrated school (Bucknell) in 4th grade, and it was just as Sharon described, right down to the effect of using older textbooks in black schools, and falling behind for a time. I was fortunate to be younger, the Elementary school kids were pretty innocent, and hadn't learned much about hate or racism. But the challenges of living in that old Virginia culture leave a lasting impact on you. (Farrell)
Shocked to see myself in this unseen production at 1:18!
Great explanation!
The incredible sculptural beauty in bannerstones is unparalleled. The hunter spent his free time polishing his stone dreaming of success.
than you.
I miss this
I remember some of the Fairfax County cheerleaders back in the 70's.. Boy were they easy.
Class of 76
So when is my reunion? 1976
I was an introverted, antisocial kid back then, so I already knew I probably wouldn’t appear in any of these scenes.😅. Class of ‘89 here✌️. A few of these faces triggered some memories, like “Oh yeah, I remember that guy, or that girl!”😂 Little did we know back then that there would be a RUclips someday where we could watch this….didn’t even have internet yet🤭
Nah this school kinda sucks😭😭 but the sixth grade party is amazing so that’s abt it
I'm in 8th grade, I remember some teacher that still work in lake braddock :))))))))
i use to go to this school since i was 2, the memories i had in this school 😢
My teacher is mrs mcwhirt
Wait which grade
Fuck Idgaf
Mr.byrd my second grade teacher 😊❤
I'm the 6th grader with the big glasses 😅 5:22
This is gold
the only problem i see with his atlatl with the banner stone is the hole looks much bigger on his. if the real ones were used like that they would have been on pretty flimsy throwers.
Damn 😂 Grant & I in the Media Marketing class 🤦♂️
Robert Nelson was an amazing teacher and support for his students. He influenced the trajectory of my life in a very positive way.
Hey that’s my school
I went there for elementry school
I go to aldrin ES best school ❤❤
I have a feeling the school is going down hill. Here it looks like the ideal middle school and the infrastructure looks even better. Now it feels like a hostile work environment and mercy by the hands of the principal.
