Milling Machine 600V to 240V Motor Swap Convert Conversion VFD 2of2
This video is showing a way to convert an industrial milling machine to home use. The machine is sold under the name Darbert, but I am pretty sure it is a rebranded King Rich KR-V3000V. This machine has an ISO40 taper and is 12x48 in size. I will be using CAT40 tool holders with a different drawbar and a lower HP motor/VFD combination. The VFD is a Vevor 7.5KW unit which is cheap and larger than needed for the job. Shout out to Viny @Viny B for the swap idea. Also thanks to Tom @oxtoolco for the lathe carriage gauge idea. If you can get a good deal on a mill, just do it! You won't regret it. After all, that's what we do....machining as a hobby. Which is to say, machine stuff so you can ma...

12x36 Lathe 3 Bolt Compound Mod
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.Год назад
This is a mod I performed after the standard t-bolt arrangement was irritating me. I thought about it for about a year, then decided to do it. I'm glad I did. I know it's been a long time since my grinder restoration video, but I have a full time job and I like to just make parts on my limited free time. To make a video, it doubles or even triples the time required. I probably won't respond to ...
7" Rockwell Bench Grinder Restoration Rebuild

Disassembly, inspection and repair of a 1960's Rockwell bench grinder model 23-220.
Audio is absolute crap. Can't watch.
Very smart!
Same problem on my Enco 13 x 40 . Sometimes the bolts even jam as you rotate the crosslide.
Pretty cool. Going to have to give it some serious thought. My 14x40 enco is very similar and the nuts are getting rounded. The allen heads/thick washers look like a good fix even without the third bolt. Good video.
I like your fabrication of parts❤
If I went to that shop I wouldn't know the diffrence of that machine and the one's in the machine shop at the world trade center maintenence dept.
Really excellent video with good detail . Overall restoration turned out great . And don’t listen to some of the criticism , some people just have to be negative because they aren’t as skilled as you . I have another Baldor grinder that is about to be restored also . I have the cast iron stand for it also . Good job and make some more videos . 👍
Very unsafe working. Using a high speed angle grinder without safety caps. Not a good example for learners
Good video. But you work like an accident waiting to happen
Thanks for the great video. I have the same model and am looking for replacement lamps for it. Do you know what style lamps work?
Dritz 910 sewing machine bulb. They fit a little loose for me, but they work.
@@markdeamone6261 Awesome, thanks!

Beautiful restoration of a grinder
Great job!
This is an EXTREMELY informative video. I just purchased (but have not yet taken delivery) on a 1947 Delta Grinder that is in need of a bearing job. Your very detailed video I think will help me tackle something that is beyond my comfort/skill range, so thanks a bunch for that.
Fantastic video. You put a lot of work into restoring this classic machine and the recording and editing. Thank you for your great effort!
It's called a bit
good work Thanks for sharing I found your video very useful, Thankyou

Very well done. Thanks.
Hey man, its Dave! Lol. Nice job.
Dude sounds like your the host to a late night love radio station 😂.
I doen't make many comments because of my slow typing. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your video . I am sure you have always done a good job at whatever job you were doing.
Лучше бы заткнулся, как страшную сказку на ночь читает!
Very cool vid. Thanks for sharing.
Great job!
Awesome job glad to see other people doing work that I love ❤️
You announcing a golf match or restoring a grinder ??? Speak up and show a little enthusiasm at the very least.
I have a bench grinder that when I turn it on, the main shaft shifts to the right about a half inch. this I why I watched your video because I have to take it apart to fix this.
I hate to say this, but you sounded like you were falling asleep during the whole video! Almost made ME fall asleep! :) You might want to speak up a bit more on your next video. :)
Great fabrication job...nice presentation!
