@@jonothetunesmith I make my own breaks , iI quantise the kicks and snares , eq , sometimes record the breaks through old samplers but the rytm also adds alot to them

@@larbgai75 a lot of the samples especially the breaks have been recorded through my akai s950 or Amiga first then loaded into the rytm

do you create the loops by sequencing the source elements on the RYTM as well and then re-sample them as loops? it seems it might be a better using RYTM that way instead of keeping everything as sequenced source elements susceptible to being messed up.
@@RadekPilich Hi no I rarely re sample on it , I basically just use it as a tracker sequencer , all I do before is make aload of breaks in the same bpm , usually 162bpm then chop then up in the rytm using start point parameter locks

@@MichaelMKM yeah you can do a lot with the scenes , Change samples , mute tracks but turning the amp volume down , reverse a sample , you can do loads with the scenes and performance macros

@@MichaelMKMThanks , I pre made aload of breaks in ableton at 162bpm , stuck them in a folder then switch between them on the rytm

great tune man, im wondering how you record these, do you do overbridge or just 1 master track? Been using the machine for a while and really like the master compressor but it doesn't work with overbridge so was wondering. Cheers
@@mete407 cheers , sometimes I use overbridge with the individual tracks but most the time I just use the master out over usb audio so all the effects work , I just use the filter to eq things per step if they really need it

If you turn off autofocus on you camera rig it wont AF like that all the time. Manual focus on the machine and then you are good to go. :) Nice beats!
