That is nice. I like that you want to have more free floor space. That heater in the back is magical. There is a type of modular sofa, chair that could be used to manage the set up. I think that it is possible to diy something like this, adapt it. The benefit is that all the components could fit into a box for easy storage when you are driving. Pour a small amount in your washer reservoir too.

Sightlines are important for a spacious feel too. I've seen too many videos of van builds that try to carve out a bedroom with walls and door. Immediately reduces the visual size and so unnecessary. Who do you need privacy from? Your SO who will probably go to bed at the same time? Dinner guests who leave for their own van beds?

99% alcohol 30% water ??? They sell 70% rubbing alcohol for cheap here so I'll give it a try. I've also seen 91% but it costs quite a bit more

This saves me from having to turn my heat on full blast on a cold start with a cold engine. I hate when my Front windshield and side windows are covered in ice, even after scaping it off I still cant see. As you know, Canada is a cold country. Winter is a long challenging season we have to deal with twice in the same year. I have alcohol and a spray bottle, I'm gonna try this.

Great, having almost a liter at home. I bought 99.8% alcohol for alcohol inks, a creative hoby, then I used it to clear thermal paste from between CPU and heat sink in my old laptop (learned new skills this year), now this. After I use up the de-icer in pressurised cans, I'll try this. So many uses for this product!

A swing and a miss. RainX or ceramic wax work much better.

I started cleaning my windshield with an alc base item and it works well to get sap off, never added it to a sprayer and used it to fix frost though. Might do that

Frost doesn't bother me so much, it's that frozen glazed ice coating layer on windows that bugs me. Like 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.

This will probably damage ....or dry up the rubber of the winshield wipers...... 🤔
