This week's Rescored Core was supposed to be a double upload of Apex in Circle and Agitator but the recordings for both didn't turn out too well because at max OS Tuning, it's just too easy to shred through even boss NPCs. You can see bits of that here too, particularly since my AC's carrying high burst DPS. Next vids will probably be made with all player damage OS Tuning upgrades off, so the enemies don't die so quickly that the fights become too short. Course I could also just use weaker weapons but I want to try some build theming for those two vids.

I imagine your eyes must hate you, but watching that Ortus cutscene be cascaded with this purple bullshit that makes the entire mission feel like you're in a Macross episode just looks so fucking cool

Huge fan of how this track strums along with the discord in the mission. Bigger fan of the choice to use Loader 4 with a coral gen.

This is one of my favorites from the 3 OST. There's other tracks I'd fit onto this mission, like Milk or something equally as slow given the pacing for your descent to Nephentes. But, BHB fills in the urgency and adrenaline this mission is otherwise lacking. I like it.

This mission does seem like something out of Last Raven... only with less surprise enemy ACs.

Inexplicably, the Blockhead Elegy on the Anniversary box is missing half the track. If anyone's interested in content preservation, get the version from the original ACLR OST.

Friesen Route

God this song is so amazing. Listen to it by itself, and it's certainly a good song. Maybe a bit oppressive on the ears, but that's more or less what most of the experimental musical catalog looks like in the series. Definitely not for everyone. But listen to it in-game, and it becomes otherworldly. It's so chaotic, so confused, and so frantic. The composition is almost grotesque, the vocals are haunting, and the tempo never lets up. It gives me chills how energetic and motivating this song just oddly is.

Good track choice, Ninebreaker had some of the cheeriest intros yet.
