At 0:50 there is single pixel on top right I thought my tv screen is bad

Ran this test on a U8N and I dont know what to think because theres a small patch on the bottom left that reveals itself on tones 18 and 19 and not with the others. What is this? I watched another demo for DSE but where it shows gradients from white to black on the screen but it moves it from left to right... when that patch shows up on that test and the image moves, the color actually moves behind the patch... How does this happen and I hope it goes away with time...

Hi Steve! I just bought a Samsung AU8100. why does it always have white dirty screen on the corner. Especially, on darker background like Netflix. Plz reply.

Is there a way to get rid of it?

I have a Hisense U6G 55 inch that has DSE. I found that by lowering the backlight to 10 and rising the contrast to 90 I was able to reduce the Dirty Screen Effect substantially. It is barely noticeable now. Also my DSE was only noticeable when in horizontal panning shots of mostly same tone backgrounds like snow scenes or desert scenes. My Hisense did not have any DSE with static single tone backgrounds. So your test pattern static color backgrounds would not reveal the kind of DSE a lot of TVs have.

Been reading a little about this lately...some places are suggesting that all makes and models, if not all modern TVs, suffer from this problem to some degree. They did offer a simple solution as manufacturers aren't accepting this as a issue for most people. They said adjusting the brightness on the tv, brighter in well lit rooms or darker in darker rooms. This should clear up a majority of the effects.....what are your thoughts on the above comment.
