This is the official channel of Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS), University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. PGIS is the leading degree awarding institute in Sri Lanka for postgraduate research and education in scientific disciplines spread over its ten Boards of Study: Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics, Plant Sciences, Science Education, Statistics & Computer Science, and Zoological Sciences operating since 1996. PGIS is awarding degrees such as MSc (By research and by course work), M.Phil. and PhD. In addition, PGIS is organizing many workshops, short courses, awareness programs and conferences annually. The institute has many facilities for student welfare.
