After each station be sure to look for oshosi system- perry folly which will conclude your journey for reputation to farm until your fully maxed out each run should take under a hour if your including hip 67882 and much less if your excluding it. " grab courier missions if your wanting the easiest upgrade path or can do pirate combat if you prefer that method.

Sothis and Ceos is no longer that good since they have significantly fewer Fed factions. Its been a while since I've been there but iirc there's only like one or two. Tbh the Federation doesn't have any spots as good as Ngalinn and Mainani for the Empire (or at least back when I grinded Empire rank). Another good option is simply to find a good system with as many Fed factions as possible and just slowly doing missions to build reputation. It'll be slower but a lot less painful than grinding out data courier missions. I used Gliese 868 and stacked Pirate Massacre missions to a system >1 Ly away, and they had 6/8 Federation factions which helped a lot, and also netted a lot of money on top of the rank.

I remember back when mission board flipping still worked my federal grind took around 10h. I tried this grind here the other day and noticed there are sometimes only a handful of missions at a station available instead of like 20. Hence I guess 12 is rather good (and from a grind perspective short enough for an online game).

hey this specific method I believe is now over now that sol is in recovery however all missions in the area will help with your ranks. I'll have a video out tomorrow for a data running route for fed ranks which basically just need a exploration ship for speed

o7 welcome back commander, to be fully transparent with you no one besides FDev can really answer that question. In my honest opinion they added to much thargoid weapons/content in the game to remove them so I feel like if we defeat this titan it begins the new era where we have to hunt them down on the planets to stop the thargoids from growing exponentially in numbers. Failing to do so will have them flying around certain systems to fight off like now. Some speculated Sol may be impossible to defend and that it will become the new Thargoid hive essentially. edsy.org/s/urSWy this build is from my community for the krait mk2 if your wanting to try it. The titan should take about a month to defeat if its possible. Sorry for the long reply but wanted to kinda touch on everything and give you the best answer.
