Weezer - In The Garage Live Cover
Live MTV 2001 version. My favorite for the record. Mainly for the palm muting of the lead guitar in the first and second verse. Also had the hardest time for the longest time with the middle part of the solo with the 3 slides. Every tab I found was wrong but i finally figured it out after watching a different live performance video.

Just always sounded a little bit off still. This is from Live at Hultsfred in 2001. A lot of people have asked me to do this for a long time. This is what I was able to come up with. One part of the solo confuses me when slowed down and I may have messed it up and played it wrong. Once again this was my best attempt without obsessing over perfection. @@heydomingo99 if you’re talking about the climb down, at the end of the live solo where Rivers quickly descends through the scale before saying “I want a dog”, I could probably write a tab for you. But I’m not sure if we’re talking about the same thing

i never realized how much the white album's lead parts take from this one solo in particular
for example??? I've been collecting little bits and pieces that translated from Pinkerton to White for some time and never noticed much references to this solo yet, would love to hear which White tracks referenced it =)
well, I am not too great with music theory but songs like (Girl) We Got A Good Thing and Endless Bummer have harmonized solos and when the bends harmonize with each other it reminds me a lot of this specific song it's mostly the way bends are used in White solos that make me think of Falling For You -and also white just adds several more layers of distortion on the solos lol-
It's crazy how many "tutorial videos" skip over the key part of the riff: sliding into the A in the same strum without the bottom strings. Love the attention to detail you put into these short videos. Go back and watch "tutorial" videos that have garnered hundreds of thousands if not millions of views and they all take the same hack approach. I wonder if they've ever actually watched Rivers play it.
