How to watch NETFLIX on XGIMI in 2024?
The NETFLIX app stoped working on XGIMI after 15 July 2024, and here is the solution. The new app from the Desktop Launcher looks like converted from anAndroid tablet app, and you have to operate with a cursor. A mini keyboard with touch pad is recommended in this case, and I made an other video for using the mini keyboard.

I can confirm.. DJI smart controller with a powered hdmi adapter works with viture pro glasses and DJI air 2s!

it is just a monitor, if you turn your head to the right, the image in the glasses remain the same.

No, xreal AR glasses doesn't work with RC-N3. You will need to purchase the Dji RC 2 controller to make it work.

I just realized that xgimi released new Halo Plus NEW and it's the same exact projector but witch Google TV and working Netflix. They are selling it for $700, 100 more than old Halo+ hahahahaha xd

Yes, it will work. If you wear glasses, you can purchase prescription glasses from 3rd party. Search honsvr on google.

This actually works very well only if your controller has a video output. Inshort only RC2 and RC2 Pro or something. Period. But it works and I use it.

Yes, this is the way, however it doesn’t give you 4k quality videos.. very sad… XGIMI should do something to get the valid license from netflix.

@@sof-j-u unfortunately, no 1080p. The only option now is to plug-in a google TV stick (dongle).

XGIMI is still a good option in it's category, and I'm sure the company is keep trying to get Netflix certificated app. the so called muilti angel stand works great for watching content on bedroom ceiling. You may also check an alternative brand JMGO, for some models they come with the similar stand out of the box, also no Netflix issue.
I'm still happy. I'm rather thinking to get rid of Netflix. But you could always stream Netflix on halo+ via phone if you really need Netflix and find no other solution.
Best option, boycotting this shitty brand…

You can’t use a soundbar if you use a fire stick with the only hdmi available. Also this is the duty of the manufacturer to follow industry requirements. XGIMI is not playing this role at all. Btw they also lie on their lumen specs.

Indeed, the new app is clearly a teporary solution. I even tried plugging a Chrome Cast into XGIMI to have a better user exprience.😂
Can you cast with your Phone to make it easier ? Using chrome cast fix the issue ?
@@Justx0 (1) Using the cast icon from the Netflix app on another device doesn't show the Xgimi projector visible. (2) Screen casting/mirroring from my Pixel 7 shows everything on my phone, until I play a show or movie and then it's blacked out on the projected image. (3) I've not tried plugging in a separate Chromecast HDMI into the Xgimi, but I assume Netflix has blocked that as well.

yes it was tested with sound on. external speaker should not consume more energy from the XGIMI
