    Agreed with a lot of what you said except for the “vanity project” stuff. Yes, he can and has rubbed some people the wrong way. But when it comes to football, he’s been coaching for a long time now at many levels, and he and Gus obviously have huge respect for each other. And the CU O & D coordinators are also no joke. I really hope UCF recovers and does well the rest of the season. But sucks there’s not the same respect coming back the other way.

    For u to think Colorado is a bad team u must be on something. Any team can lose any given Saturday. Yea we had a close game with Baylor only because we gave up 17 points on special teams. Y’all will see that we just that good when the end of the season come

    Deion Sanders has been coaching for at least 20 years. He also coached H.S. and won multiple championships before coaching college. What would make you think that he doesn't love coaching these young men, and it's just a "vanity project"? You people say some of the most unsubstantiated b.s. I've ever heard.

    To me this season is just an anti-Hype fest. Whoever is supposed to suck somehow becomes hot (ASU, BYU, Colorado), while team that are heavily favored seem to stumble and fall (Kansas, Utah Don’t think UCF or even the B12 is the only one with this Problem, but it sure has been a season of watching teams get showered with praise only for the mighty to fall. Who put a two touchdown line for UCF, even hardcore homers looked at that with pause IMHO it’s gut check time. We either go okay Florida like we mean business or just accept that basic level bowls at season end is our best outcome

    Guys, I’ve been following UCF since 1990. You have the same tunnel vision that I’ve had at times. It doesn’t feel like it after disappointing losses, but we’re making steady progress each year. Each time we’ve moved up a level or to a better conference, we’ve had 2-3 disappointing years and then we steadily advanced from middle of the pack to top of the pile. Malzahn is recruiting well and building more depth than we’ve ever had, which is what we need for 2-3 years and then we’ll be in a position to expect more than he can deliver. Hopefully he’ll be O’Leary 2.0 and will be followed by Frost 2.0. Trust the process and evaluate in the offseason.

    Time to rethink strategy. Instead of relying on transfers for one year of eligibility how about developing guys from freshmen on up. Gus has let a lot of good talent go with this strategy and the results are unimpressive. The d is full of veteran transfers and they are garbage

      Honestly, we CU fans were surprised we won by 4 TDs. I think we were just hoping to not get run on by 400 yards and get a close win. I think everyone missed the fact that this was actually a huge game for CU, with lots of Florida players having this be their only “home game” of the season.

    Guys. Our team is going to play for each other and showcase JR Harvey to make a case for him as a Heisman candidate. KJ is going to make a statement as well. Our defense they too will show off. I’m calling this a slaughter. UCF by 3 plus scores. We may drop 50.

But 🤞🏼, hoping we have an OK State type win and make a statement. But I’ll take any win… preferably not a come back or last play sort or situation 🙏🏼

    The reason Gus was fuming was the refs halted 4-5 plays for substitutions until 5 seconds on the playclock, eventually causing a delay of game, but he later admitted he needs to get his plays and substitutions in faster.

    Really interesting to hear a coherent TCU perspective after their loss from the Locked On franchise. They seem to give us a lot more credit than we give our own team but nice overall: ruclips.net/user/liveMBltbyFX9vI?si=jbu17WibuOdqfndr

    If KJ had rust or jitters, this was the game to have that. I'm optimistic he'll do better.

  • @rileykennedy4066
    @rileykennedy4066 Месяц назад

    There was a point in the game when the cameras were on the sideline and KJ’s arm was close to the camera and it was absolutely covered in sweat. Rationalizing it’s a slick ball thing…..maybe the center wasn’t keeping the ball dry? Lol idk it was just a strange performance.

  • @mrhampton913
    @mrhampton913 Месяц назад

    If the issue with KJ is laziness like Christian suggested, then that could be a huge issue. A lack of effort is one of the biggest issues that holds back players and teams from succeeding regardless of sport. Hopefully it was just rust and nerves and he looks better next game.

  • @savannahfan
    @savannahfan Месяц назад

    I’ll be real worried if QB1 and QB2 suck next game… Rust and unfamiliarity can’t be an excuse after tonight. But I’m still hopeful both will get their mojo back and produce

  • @rodrigocampos3084
    @rodrigocampos3084 Месяц назад

    Also… KJ is massive but he doesn’t look mobile and should drop down to 235/240 so he can move better.

  • @rodrigocampos3084

    Bailey, the question you brought up is what we were saying at the Broward County alumni watch party. How could KJ be the same player that threw for 8k yards, broke records and crushed it in the SEC. Thank FOD we don’t play TCU or a Big12 game next week.

  • @rodrigocampos3084
    @rodrigocampos3084 Месяц назад

    Let’s talk about Miles Montgomery. Holy moly wow!!! Was definitely sleeping on him.

  • @rodrigocampos3084
    @rodrigocampos3084 Месяц назад

    KJ actually concerns me but the Defense was way improved, Colton seems good and the RB’s just WOWWWW. Insane how great every running back is. Now can we talk about how it seems like we don’t have WRs and Hudson barely played? Maybe it’s because of how KJ was playing it changed the play calling. Who knows.

  • @Steve56179
    @Steve56179 Месяц назад

    You're talking about not overreacting to how KJ performs, but I think that even against a weak opponent you can tell how he will be over the course of the season. Wimbush went out against a weak opponent and had some good but also several wobbly innaccurate passes. JRP plays reckless and that catches up to him soon after. If KJ has several off-target passes and makes some questionable choices then that's probably how he'll be. If KJ is strong in the pocket and plays a smooth, smart game.. then we can be hopeful for the season.

    • @rodrigocampos3084
      @rodrigocampos3084 Месяц назад

      I agree about getting a general sense of the team overall. I’m more excited about the 2’s and 3’s hopefully getting in reps and experience. But I agree with not being hyper or disappointed with KJ unless it’s an extreme one way.

    It’s not the greatest that the both of you have essentially the same train of negative thoughts this season. I know UCF is up and down and so much can happen but it just seems like you guys have been getting more and more negative as we get closer to the season opener. Like you both say… we don’t know anything until the games are played. With that mentality… why not just be more optimistic and hope for a better outcome? I used to look forward to your guys’ podcast every week, share it with my friends. But lately, it’s so worst case scenario and doomsday mindset that it doesn’t make it a great listening experience. This is from someone who has listened to every one of your guys’ podcasts for a couple years. Don’t think you care, hope your listener numbers are still good. Hopefully with the games starting, things will improve all around. 🏈🙌🏻

    Regarding O-line. Something to think about is that the general rule of thumb is that run blocking is easier than pass blocking. That could explain loading up the RB room.
