UVB-76 "The Buzzer"
Просмотров 25714 лет назад
This station has been going on for almost 30 years. There is no known purpose for this station. Only a few times has the buzzer been interrupted with another noice, for example, a male voice. Received in Hamina
Amateur radio morse communication @ 7025 kHz

Seems much faster than the 7025 kHz one. This one too received in Hamina.
Amateur radio morse communication @ 7020 kHz

Received in Hamina, and it seems like very, very fast morse code.
Radio Mayak 549 kHz, jingle

Same jingle is used with the Mayak broadcast of Helsinki, on the Radio Sputnik frequencies. The signal was quite weak since it was afternoon, and no special conditions.

With full signal and a deja vu moment for me! That song used to be played 24/7 at our cable info-television channel, and now I hear it again on a shortwave channel? Unbelievable!
Unknown station broadcasting NRJ

Could this be from Valkeakoski at 102,8 MHz, or Imatra 102,5 MHz? I don't know, my Sangean didn't even pick the signal up at any of those frequencies matching.

Comparison between Sangean ATS-305 and ATS-909

A little test which can receive better, but I think you know the results already. Or after this video.

Better quality update for my previous video. No Vikerraadio, because of another local station at 104.00 MHz is more powerful than it. I had to use 94.45 MHz, because a local station with 94.70 MHz was interfereing it.

Great radio
The signal might originate from Saint Petersburg or Vyborg 🤔📻
I just came across this signal too, 7 1/2 years later and this Morse broadcast is still going on
Sorry , but 106.70 mhz - Doroznoe Radio (Vyborg), russia 1 kwt 107,9 - Avtoradio (Vyborg) , Russia 1 kwt
Where is the station on 100.1 located ?
In Kouvola you dumdum. It's Iskelmä btw.
picking this up in Brazil too
As I type this comment, UVB 76 has stopped buzzing...
How do you know how much difference there is between those two classes of receivers if you don't compare them? It can help to decide if the difference is worth the extra money or not.
What I don't understand is how you can compare an ATS-909 with an ATS-305 in the first place. These two radios are not even the same class of receivers. The 305 is a single conversion radio, while the 909 uses double conversion. This is like comparing a GE transistor radio from the 1970's to the ATS-305....I wonder which one will win! Dumb video!
Don't try to look like a "cool dude". You don't know everything, right? And everyone may make a mistake.

Oh, sorry for mixing up decades with centuries... Thanks for correcting me. ;-)
Really? Centuries? xD I know you're exaggerating on purpose, but I'm just saying that it was only established in 1964.
It's crazy that this and even the new 909 has no input for an external FM antenna, even the Tecsun PL-310 has this !!
Wow, I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA and I received something else related to Morse code on 7025! Must be a common Morsing frequency.
excellent. but they call it Raadio Chetyre cause it's russian
nice ! been there too not long ago. I always keep on wondering why the signals from Tallinna Teletorn are so damn weak :( U gotta go to Suomenlinna , all the stations from Pirita and Kohtla Nomme can be received over there
Actually there's a lot of china on the SW these days, they invest quite a lot while other countries chease operating on SW and stick to the web
This jingle (interval signal) has been used by Mayak for centuries.
🤔
It's no data burst but simply Morce code communication in the 40 m amateur band.
Hi, what you received are radio amateurs using Morse code.
Ilmeisimmin useammin on kuultavissa puhetta UVB-76 verrattuna entiseen.
What kind of antenna did you use and how did you connect it to the ATS 909?
