@@DuduPXG wherever the Skul game executable is. If you open it from a shortcut, you can right click it and open file location

@@lama308 inside the game folder, there should be a BepInEx folder, a 2020.3.34 folder (or whatever was the version) with around 74 files and no folder inside, and the doorstop files. The mods would be inside a folder called plugins, inside the BepInEx folder

@@MrBacanudo I did what you told me to do but for same reason the only items that appear are omen items. It's sayed that the mod is loaded.

@@MrBacanudo I install the "Voice Of The Community" mod and "BepInEx Pack Skul". But ther is not any new itams in the item room or the shop except for omen items.

​@@lama308 I'm not the author of the Voice of The Community mod, FYI. You can possibly find help on the Discord server. from the community whose voice was heard. I don't know how you're getting omen items in the shop, for example. But that would mean that mods are working, so you're 99% of the way there!

@@JoelAguilarCerna you need to beat level 10 for the first time, then the dialogue will bring you to use the newly unlocked mirror as Skul.

@@AbdCox this is not a mod error, and it shows up on every boot of the game. The error would be somewhere else.

@@evarie that grab is very powerful, because it breaks all shield and deals damage based on your maximum HP, ignoring damage reductions! Luckily, the hero only does it after specific moves, and takes a pause to telegraph he's going to do it. It's about knowing to them, and learning the exact moment to dash. For me, it's easier to time by dashing in the air, but the knowledge is still necessary. Another way is by having something like Succubus or active Heirloom, which invalidate the attack completely. Keep trying and you'll get there! Good luck! 💪

@@derichencallado3040 keep trying and you will get there! It's part of the experience! 💪 Until you have learned all of the enemy moves, I recommend building around some defensive items. And have 2 of the Revenge inscription. I do have a tutorial video on beating DM0, but that's the gist of it. Good luck!

@@artasky6093 I do have many videos explaining how to build around a balanced run, such that the defensive aspects compensate for the current lack of knowledge of enemies movesets... My "first win" tutorial is probably the best, but I recommend now also the Revenge inscription. Just need it at level 2, and it helps a lot. If you combine it with Ghoul, you can basically tank the entire run! But the most important is perseverance. Keep trying, and you will get there! 💪

I haven't... This video was not popular when I made it, and it happened in a weird transition phase of my content, so I ended up not doing to promised follow-up... If I come back to doing frequent Skul content, then I may bring the sequel to this one back! 🤔

@@lama308 Are you using my custom items mod? There are many right now at the store, and I don't control how they behave. If so, can you take a look at the BepInEx log, to see if something is broken?

@@MrBacanudo I check the BeplnEx and it has 1 error. [Error : Unity Log] Check for C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Skul/Skul_Data/Plugins/x86_64/steam_api64.dll do you know what to do??? btw thans for the help.

The Thunderstore versions won't work, but if you follow the BepInEx installation process for MacOS, it's possible you can use the mods on it. Sadly I don't have one MacBook, so you'd need to find support in the BepInEx community. Good luck!

Rift Blade only amplifies the extra damage. I'm currently on a hiatus and away from my computer, so sadly I can't check the exact numbers for you. But my original data mining and number crunching had gotten me that Rift Blade and Weakness Exposure, when used optimally, had a similar DPS. That's for the level 3 Rift Blade, versus the single-level Weakness Exposure. By doing the commons-only challenge, however, I did value Rift Blade a bit more, because it is, in the end, still extra damage. Especially in the early game, against rooms in acts 2 and 3, it deals a decent amount of damage on a single hit. It only really falls short against bosses and adventurers. As Dark Ability slots are a very limited resource, there are usually better choices than it.

Wait, what?! Isn't level 8 when you interact with the machine and unlock the ability to start with rare skulls?

As far as I know, it does! Every time there's been a major release of Skul, I checked if things worked, and updated when possible...

Sadly you don't. Modding is a community effort, and the developers have no involvement in it. So it can only work on PC 🙁

@@lucasdelrosario2261 the mods themselves are platform-independent, but the BepInEx installation process was only automated for Windows. So you'd need to figure out the manual installation by yourself, at most with the BepInEx community (I don't have a Mac). Good luck!

Sadly, only PC 😕 Modding is a community effort, and Southpaw has no involvement in it... They would need to, in order for us to get that working on anything other than PC...

The specific Castle mods do use the unlocked machines to expand functionality, so they need higher levels, yes. Other mods do not need them, though, e.g. DevMenuTurbo and CustomItems, as well as the quality of life updates like FixNPCs.

I hear it's possible, though I can't provide direct support for it. It would require the manual installation process to work, detailed in the GitHub repository.

Have you beaten the level 10 of the Dark Mirror? The mods on the Castle only use whatever machines you have unlocked throughout the game

That's fair. The game is very intensive and busy, so you kinda have to develop a feel for it, because you won't see anything! Good news is, you actually will develop it over time, so there's nothing to worry about 🙂

@MrBacanudo I just beat 1st Hero DM1 using mage after watching this video , the difference is I didn't get Succubus, only got slime , but it worked 🫠🫠🫠

This installer should only work with the Steam version, but if you can manage to do the old manual installation process, it should work on any version of the game on PC!

@@MrBacanudo i dowloaded it from Steam then tried to finish the boss 1 time. After i cleared 1 time i can pick the legendary but still not have place to awaken for another hero. So that i need to clear 10 level of dark mirror right?

@@tai863 Yes, unless you use the DevMenuTurbo and just press the Awaken button. Though I don't recommend, who am I to tell you how you should enjoy this game? 🙃

@@tai863 The Monkey skull is unlocked in the shop, if I recall correctly. The castle mods, specifically, only give unlocked items.

Not inside Steam, but on the Thunderstore. You can download the mods from the manager recommended on newer videos, and it will work with the Steam version of the game
