B.W. we can only imagine, so senseless) they came together in college and had such comraderie and trust in each other and it was so cool that the whole damn team was from the state of Illinois and not just all Chicago, you had Carbondale, jacksonville , Peoria and the greater Chi town area represented and that made this team just a little more special as an illini fan from illinois.1988-89 a cherished memory of being 19 and this team was like an parallel story running with one the best times carefree times of our lives. #13 highschool college or pro will always be my favorite player cold as ice smooth as silk .team for the ages in illinois

I went over my Buddy Brian and Richards house right after the game reenacting the fake and hit my head on his basement ceiling. Sucked we lost but will always remember that dunk.
