Hello, I would like to help you with question 1 but I can’t seem to understand exactly what you are trying to say. If you are pulling raw wave from your source engine game you’ll need to soundscript those waves in your mods “scripts” folder and then import them to faceposer to edit from there. Second question: No you will need to send your mods vcd files and your mods files over to your friend with the vmf. All paths must remain in tact as well. Whether you decide to vpk your mod or not is up to you

I'll try to make it simple: when I create a new channel for speech in Faceposer, I can select from the original .wav files of the game. Thank you for your comment. Sometimes black Mesa screws up the scenes.image and you have to use your problem solving skills to fix it. Sometimes you gotta delete faceposer and verify integrity, rename the custom folder so the game doesn’t try to dump there, re-initialize your v-project and or attempt other methods. My theory is it’s either the face poser version that comes with bm is generally bugged or the custom folder messes with everything or both. This problem has happened to me a lot and I have sit there fighting it for hours eventually to realize something random fixed it. Therefore I can’t explain any direct method. We are just staying under the radar to get work done more efficiently. We are currently on the last phase of development and that’s the mapping. Everything else including our batch files, ui, launcher and logo/ splash screens are finished.

Thanks for the response and Yea the source engine is really bitchy about everything, I might try hl2 face poser to see if i have the same problem or if it's just black mesa's. Glad to hear everything's going well, looking forward to it and just don't rush yourselfs. Edit: it seems like using the half life 2 face poser creates the scenes.image file in my black mesa scenes folder, Maybe this could work for other people who are having problems with black mesa's face poser.

@@nuclearneon7534 Absolutely, only reason no ones heard anything from us is because we are taking it very slow. We really can’t afford to mess up a major characters story. Especially when we are the ones making and untold story arc

@@kristoferkoessel4354 Try the following (worked for me): Have your saved .vcd file in your Black Mesa/custom/mod/scenes folder. Your Black Mesa/bms/scenes folder should be empty! Click on "Rebuild image" in Faceposer! Then the scenes.image file should appear in your Black Mesa/bms/scenes folder. It didn't work for me the first time either.

@@Tibidoki1957 Sometimes black Mesa decides to completely disassociate with face poser. What you said usually works but sometimes there’s the situation in which face-poser won’t spit out a scene file no matter what. That’s when you have to use means such as deleting faceposer and it’s files and checking integrity and or resetting your vproject. Though I would recommend trying any suggestions as well.

It should, you might need to configure settings a little differently with vproject but that should be it. I.e: Set it to source engine 2006 or something instead of the newest build available.
