Had a lot of interest in a video I uploaded of me doing my Dave (& Chas) impersonation playing a boogie version on piano and drums of 'Swanee River' so I thought I'd do another boogie....but this time 'The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy', which I last played on a Michael Ball UK tour a few years back! Again I'm on piano and drums.....maybe soon I'll get to grips with iMovie to do a multiple screen rendition....but sadly now I don't have the time.....soon though perhaps...Enjoy! I used to play this style of piano a 'lotta years' ago, so I thought, why not revisit this old piano style and play along to myself on the piano, adding a drum track for a change....it was a lot of fun so thought I'd record it.....

I received my new Looper Pedal yesterday!! Read briefly through the instructions and decided, lets have a bash!! Fine but if your an idiot like me you decide to record the ordeal and put it out there for a laugh....warts an' all! So here I am improvising an obstinate to play over on piano...and....drums!!

Little rare footage of me on piano after having a morning of composing, accompanied by My dog 'Bailey', (the whole reason for posting this!!!) as he never lets me down as far as recording goes....he's always there, in the background, with his impeccable timing for when the red light goes on...once again he never let me down today either!!!

This video shows how the drum/percussion interlude (taught and explained in an earlier video) on this track in the show, moves into the 'Out Chorus'! A full on chorus, dance, music extravaganza which I can't fully reproduce here with just piano, bass & drums and no chorus of singers but you get an idea of the vibe intended I hope? (Cymbal bell tooooo small for my hands!!!)

Here is another drum part explanation for the 'Out Chorus' track of 'He Lives In You', from Act 2 of The Lion King. I've added this video, as the version I taught in another earlier video is 2 measures short!! I realised this after watching it a few days later!! Apologies and I hope this helps correct the drum pattern for you and apologies once again for my inabilities as a teacher!! Lol
