Founded by singer-guitarist Rudi Protrudi in New York City, the band has gone through several member changes but is currently active in Europe. they maintained a strong fan base in New York, in Europe (with their music being played on Hungarian State Radio), and in Los Angeles.
1980's garage rock revival band to secure a major label record deal, when they signed to RCA.
The group's name is derived from Fuzz Tone, the commercial name of a guitar effect pedal invented in 1962 .

Seriously, the best cover. Top 5 all time. Lincoln St. Exit formed 1964 Albequerque, NM. Only had one full length Lp from 1970, released this on a 7" and it was good, but this is a moment when a cover is better than the original. Fuzztones for the win.
Enjoyed the guitar solo in the middle. It's always flattering when someone covers one of our records. We recorded this one in 1965 at RCA Studio A in NYC.
