Absolutely cracking video Tam. Really enjoyable. Loved the drone footage and music and banter. Loved seeing super Paul at the end haha. Again well done for a well put together video. Might try and visit this next year. Gonna suggest to my mate. Also mate where do you park? Is it the same car park for Ben Alder munro? ATVB Alan
Good morning Alan. Ben Alder can be done from this end, but most people do it from the other end, Dalwhinnie. This approach is from the Rannoch side, and we parked at Rannoch Lodge, a small carpark nect to loch Rannoch (free parking) thanks for your comment mate, it's much appreciated 👏 we had a fantastic day atb Tam
Great presentation
Thank you 😊
I've always admired and wanted to climb this mountain but when I see the scree etc on the top I'm not so sure. Just couldn't bear it if the weather turns, then it's dangerous!
Hi there, Thanks for the comment, I can only advise that you pick a day with good weather and the rewards from the summit are amazing 👏. Thanks for watching ATVB Tam

@@PAADVENTURES1 we do look a bit scary 😨 lol
Hiking in the Scottish mountains is fantastic when the weather is on your side. I think it is possible in a long day (just) to continue from the Aonachs to Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis, completing the Lochabar 4000'ers.
That would be some hike, doing the 4, what a day we had. The weather was amazing.
Done this 22nd September 2024 very first Munro not fully prepared for this first off I was a runner for 24 years gave it up due to allergies mainly pollen and dust continued walking as easier option mostly distances from 5 Miles up to 15 miles with some steep roads and streets 3 to 5 times a week having never done mountains it was shock to my legs I took the hard way up I made the top eventually but on way down other side my legs got slowly weaker to the point I was falling on boulders damaged my elbow had a few bruises and skin broken lots of hikers gave me advice as I slipped probably about 15 times in total then about a mile from car park I slipped just after a man wife and son passed me the man carried my bag to car park made sure I was safe on downward boulders and he made sure I was ok to drive which I was but without this man I might not be here to tell my story it would only take falling head first on rocks for serious consequences for me so he was my life saver I never even got his name I wish I was able to take a selfie but my phone had run out of charge till I got charging it in car most people when they asked my age were surprised I was 73 some said your probably the oldest person on mountain today ...😊
Was not sure that would get on website they after I tried posting they said something like 36 words only the man that helped me needs a medal even though it was a little as a mile he is a hero 👍 x
@AnneRussell-cu5hn Not all heroes wear capes 👏 brilliant 👏

Brilliant Tam. I've still not been up their yet. Trying to keep for a day with my son. Am going out tomorrow. But don't know where yet. Debating between Meikle Bin or Ben Ledi. Decisions decisions 🤔. Hopefully you've been out last couple of days. Weather's been good. ATVB Alan
Thanks Alan. Unfortunately, I'm working and on call 🥲 so no sunny hikes for me. It's a great hike for the kids, I took my son up about 7 years ago, amazing place
Such a beautiful hike, gorgeous panoramic views guys! 🥾🥾
Thank you 😊 great day out with the lads
Dose it fit regular smartphone on hip belt pockets? I trayed on Citro 30 and it fitted not so well. Because closer to the buckle it becomes much narrow and cant easily zip to the end.
Hi, I have the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and it fits fine, hope this helps. Thanks for the comment atb Tam
Great vid man , looked a class day/camp.
Thanks Scott. One of my best days, we had the best weather and a nice steak dinner and beer, what more do you want? Thanks for watching ATVB Tam
