Follow us, Mr & Mrs H, on our quest for adrenaline fuelled days out as we ride some of the world's greatest roller-coasters and share our experiences with you. There will be light hearted banter and fun at every park as we bring you along for the craziest ride of our lives.
There is of course, a seriousness and purpose, all the fun aside. We will be supporting Dementia UK with every lift hill that we climb, aiming to raise £5000 to help support the continued research into this awful disease.
Losing two grandparents who were full of zest, cheeky and caring, was heart-breaking. Witnessing the people you love, taken away day by day and trying to engage conversation with them when they didn't even know your name, is saddening.

In this VLOG we conquer Kondaa, an Intamin Mega Coaster. Mrs H gives Mr H an absolute hammering in dark ride shoot-em ups and Mr H forgets to change the setting on his GoPro and shoots a time lapse of a coaster, instead of a real time POV (lesson learned!)

We ride the oldest surviving coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa, The Scorpion. Present at the park since 1980, it was the first roller coaster I ever rode in Florida and will always hold fond memories. Despite being 44 years old it still brings a smile to my face.

Hope it's running when I get there from the States later this week.
My fingers will be crossed for you but operations have been pretty good recently so I am sure you will get to enjoy the UK's best coaster. Watch out for the stall, probably the best in the world
Every time I think about ride to happiness I get a little emotional. That ride is something special. Not only for being a different model than other rides, but also for the spirit of the ride. Its theme doesn't try to be scary or intimidating, it's just magic. It's just different, and pure, and beautiful. Everything of this ride is pure art. I'm in love with it. I didn't really understand what she said at 13:40 because I'm not english...and the subtitles didn't work 🥲 Anyway, I can't agree more guys with your reactions. This ride is being overshadowed a lot in the past few months because of the newer ones, but I don't think it deserves it. It's just that special.
"It's like the Waltzers on a rollercoaster, what's not to love" is in reference to a spinning flat ride you can find at most travelling fairground attractions. So basically that ride experience being put onto a coaster track with inversions.

This coaster is designated as historical. So it would have to be a catastrophic failure and permission to remove it. Phoenix should bring some riders. Babys first loop and babys first invert.
It certainly does hold a place in my heart and we always ensure we get a ride in whenever we are in Tampa so let's hope it's around for many more years :)
