Today I was privileged to take my 18 month old grandson to his physical therapy with hugs, tears and few laughs. I'm on my patio watching a sunset. Love each minute. I will not be found in my last day in a cloud of Cheeto dust on a recliner! Passing is inevitable. Regret is not. If you can't run, walk, if you can't walk crawl, if you can't crawl, do wheelchair wheelies. Bless all and go out with a bang, not a whimper.Peace out.

I got old one day at a time. Did things that would hairlip the pope and so.e things that would make him proud but I wouldn't change a thing. If I had another chance I may not do them again though, lol
I had aortic aneurysm,bad aortic valve, and a heart murmur. I had the surgery in 2010. Since then the hospital has saved my life about 6 or 7 times for other various genetic problems. I'm only 65 and still going but retired from work.
Man, talk about having a song that makes you feel something to your very core. And the sadness it brings with it, regardless of how happy you think you are, I am only 70, and maybe with a good bit of life yet to experience. Still, it speaks to you down deep into those dark corners that you try not to visit, and never to be shared with even your close friends. I lived a full life and carry many fond memories in my heart, but old really sucks.
So much new music out, some songs are just never heard older cuts, true gems many undiscovered treasures! My favorite song that reachs in and grabs my soul is by Gary Cassin if your looking for me but the comments are turned off for that song, I hate that.

I’m 73 years old lost my wife to brain cancer 26 years ago and the kids are all grown up and seldom call. You get old and realize everything has changed, I get up in the morning and look over to the empty place that used to be my wife’s side of the bed. I still keep going for my grandkids.

I'm 75, lost my only child, my son, 8 years ago and live in constant critical physical pain 24/7. Not to mention the emotional bouts. I've gotta' say that the end is actually looking OK. Maybe time to get going on to the next adventure. All in all this one has been a pretty good life.
