Quick video when I was out bush cutting firewood.
Thought it may be informative to some and help you with unnecessary strikes of the axe.

Here is a short clip i shot on a beautiful morning at White Hills beach. This beach is a hotspot for Fishing and 4 wheel driving. Being just over 1 hours drive south of Perth White Hills is a perfect place to set up and relax for the day.

    Nice vid 👍 That’s a great looking log. I see you tagged Fiskars in the description - how does that axe compare to like an X27? I’ve tried lots of splitters & axes but can go longer with less effort with the Fiskars. I’ve not tried the Stihl full size axe but do have the Stihl hatchet & its awesome 👌. * new subscriber 😊

Yes I have tried the AX27 and for me im more comfortable using the Stihl Axe as per this video, I find the handle length works really well for my swing style. Both are very good Axes👍 I may be able to do a comparison video soon. Cheers and thanks for watching/subscribing.

    THX for the review i was seeking this axe for a long time now i just found it again here, i've seen in action awesome stuff for something that isn't battery powered or running gas, for small everyday chopping this one got you and your childrens covered and i'm all here for that, kill your dependence on your state do your own stuff, have a good one mates.

    You make it look so easy. I am trying to split firewood at home into pieces that will fit into the fireplace, but my axe just bounces off the wood! I have the same axe, brand new.

    WHY your not poor how about log splitter or buy it. because makes you feel good that your doing something. look at you does this like some would be cutting would. trying to show that tool r you why. do you tell the people the whole story. try that on wet soft wood. or just soft wood in gneral. no jackass you feed of people stupidity trying tell them this is the shit

      Its in the state forrest public firewood area. You buy a permit but are only allowed to collect timber for firewood from dead fallen trees. I do agree some is too good for firewood but thats all we can do..Cheers
