Thank you Daniel! I personally prefer the LXR, especially for the deeper and more intense stuff. I think QoP can be more hands on and easier to jam and improvise with, although you can map cv control of the LXR as well. In terms of sound I think it’s really down to personal preference, and I wouldn’t say one is better than the other. I did not like the Analog Kick from the Qop too much, which was one of the main reasons why I got the LXR. It’s just more flexible in terms of sound design. But as I said, it ultimately comes down to what kind of music you want to make and the tone you’re going for. I hope that helps!

Thank you! I‘m happy to hear that! It’s a really versatile module and you can get lots of different sounds out of it! But note that I routed the LXR through the Ritual Electronics Guillotine! But there is also onboard distortion for every individual sound, as well as an FX send!

Thank you so much! I hope you‘ll dig the LXR. Tbh, there is not much going on modulation wise in this patch. For this lead stab, there is just a single decay envelope from stages on the filter cutoff. I‘m playing the cutoff for this bell-ish sound by hand. That’s basically it! Everything else is just sequencing from Beatstep! For example, when the kick is muted all other sounds have a longer decay. But this is due to the distortion and the kick overpowering a lot of the other sounds, I think - I didn’t plan it! So that’s what causing the great shift in timbre in the breakdowns.
