The Best New Disc of 2023? (2023 Sexton Firebird Review)
I just found you! Hit me up if you are looking for another local to play with!
I got a hole-in-one at maybe about 70 to 80 yards and I started freaking out but luckily I was playing with three of my friends so they were my back up when I tell the story
That’s awesome! 👏🏼
@ if I remember correctly, it rocked from left to right three times while it was flying before it slap the chains
Get up to anoka and play the cedars. Also on a golf course and only open for the winter. So much fun.
I definitely will soon! I think the layout is a lot better than Brookview but it’s just further drive for me
@@hyzerhqdiscgolfbrookview is also a great layout. Fun to also be able to play both courses. Good luck in Florida, I was just in Bradenton before Christmas for a friend’s wedding. Was so much fun playing a few of the courses in the area. I love what you are doing with Hyzer Hq. As an amateur player I would love if a lot of vendors and TD’s got on board.
I appreciate it Alan!
Good course but definitely not top 5.
Fun course, wish they had tee pads, but thankfully they changed to free to play so it works. Good idea for a video too, enjoyed it.
Didn’t know they used to make you pay, glad that they changed it!
Crown is a hidden Jew of the West Metro. Best round for me is +3, but just love the environment.
Totally agree! I love that it’s never busy also
I actually work at Crown College and play this course fairly often. Definitely a fun course but not the easiest ever.
Some of the birdies are real tough to get!
Let's go, Crown!
Swanny my guy!!
Love the content PJ!
Thanks Zach!
Bro beat my best round at crown with chilly hands and whipping wind, good watch! HyzerHQ is the future of disc golf tournaments!
You just gotta play there more, you’ll get -3 easy! Appreciate you Chet! 🫡
MN golf...the wind is always blowing.
So true!
No. By far not the best course in MN. Not even the top 10.
With new baskets and better mowing in the summer I think it would be in the top 10 for sure
@@hyzerhqdiscgolf you let me know when that happens and I'll be there too
Total bomber course. Great for airing the arm out and working on consistent upshots, but not much that challenges hitting lines and shaping shots. My noodle arm only has a chance at birdie on about half of the holes. Nice bomb on #9 and super impressive shots on #11 and #12. I never even get close on those ones. It's actually not that bad in the summer too. By far the worst for losing a disc is #16, but going too far right on #18 is bad too. A lot of times I'll just play #16 at shorter tee position.
Yeah definitely a course to work on the distance lines, although not a ton of danger if you don’t play anything as OB. Luckily I can throw something like a halo destroyer and bail out left on 16 and 18 to still give myself a chance at birdie in the summer. Thanks for watching!
Fun course but there are like 3-4 birdys on the menu realistically. Needs a lot of TLC. 16:33 sus
Definitely needs some work in the summer but other than that it’s an awesome course. Could use some new baskets too! And check my shorts, I can get there 😉
Like this course a lot, its taken many of my discs when playing in the Summer, and you're right a spotter is very useful. I usually just play a 9-hole round on the holes where you're less likely to lose discs when I'm by myself out there. Fun to watch, my best out there is +4, but usually play much worse, I'm working on getting better though.
Yeah the 9 hole loop is a nice option! At this point I’ve played so many rounds here that I can usually get by without a spotter luckily 😅
I'll have to get over and try that course someday. I live in Maple Grove.
I’d say avoid doing it in the summer, it tends to get pretty overgrown. Otherwise it’s an awesome layout though!
"wtf richard?!"
Honestly too zoomed in too see much. Looks good from what I can see. If you tend to throw too high or nose up, you could raise your throwing arm a little higher during your reach back. It looks like 400' is no problem for you though
This blue ribbon pines? That hole looks like one there that's eaten a lot of my discs...beautiful toss!
Yes it is! Definitely one of the scarier tee shots on the course.
If you talk in start and tell us the you are doing you will be famous
I JUST ran out of my stash of 19's, which were flatter, firmer, and beefier. They beat up into beautiful straight torque resistant birds. Im excited this years are as beef as they are, i'm curious how they'll beat in given the different composition of the plastic. Thanks for the video.
I’ll be interested to see how they beat up too. The plastic feels a little more gummy than normal so I’m hoping they break in super well!
Run it every time
Wasting bandwidth, server space and people’s time on poor play.
man look at your left foot, where ever you point it, it’s where the disc will go especially on a side arm. i’ve played disc golf for a while it’s the best advice i have heard
and keep your elbow tucked in on a side arm
I can't wait to play there... I'm going in a week 🤓 I play dellwood weekly .. Im playing the blacks
You got robbed
Just ordered a cotton candy blue and pink one from disc golf deals
Hope you enjoy them 🙌🏼
You missed.. that wasn't sick, my guy.
He hit center post it was sick as fuck
So close
