Crockett and jones and loake are awesome british brands, with classic style shoes built to last as you mentioned. Much more worth it than luxury fashion brand shoes which are not even goodyear welted

lol shocking prices...well yeah. Harrods / Prada Cafe...but even there I guess prices went up 50% plus. But gbp 6.50 for a cappucino in Prada Cafe is essentially still reasonable. Guess a Starbucks in London is maybe GBP 4.50?
