Thank you so much for this blog I am so nervous in this process this brought me to tears. I pray mine goes as smooth as your defense.

During the pandemic I started a doctoral program, EdD, but the pandemic led to great loss in my family. I'm heading back to the books in January 2025 though. However, due to what happened during the pandemic and issues occurring around the globe, the elections, and our media, my focus has shifted and I plan to seek a doctorate in an area focusing on educational policy and law. I thought I had the focus of my studies down but now know God had a different plan for me.

Eventually I want to get my Doctor of Ministry at LU. Currently getting my Masters. I recently heard of someone graduating from a different university and they wrote a book for their projects. I was thinking of doing this if possible. Anyone know writing a book for the micro projects is an option thanks? I’m still a couple years away at this point but just curious.

September 5th I successfully defended my PhD Dissertation. The PhD is in Philosophy of Criminal Justice, its surreal to be called Dr. I am taken back. lol. I also went to Liberty University for my PhD.

Incidentally our micro-projects are almost the same - I also started off with an instructional video, then a redesigned church website, followed by an advertisement for a ministry launch. I was just assigned my chair and wanted to know the protocol if I should reach out to my chair and reader and introduce myself. Praying for your journey and following along.

I’m about to work on my PhD (doctorate) in business from Liberty University and believe me I know it’s not like UCLA or Harvard, but for me I’m serving in the military and made E-6 in 6 years. I’ve accomplished so much and from what I know about how I’m doing, people will respect you by what you do with your work experience and your degree. ❤ Don’t let a schools reputation deter you from earning your degrees.
