The Cold Spring Area Maennerchor, a central Minnesota men’s chorus that began in 1937, is celebrating the beginning of its 86th season. Throughout the Maennerchor’s 86 year history, the group has enriched the lives of thousands of people in Central Minnesota and around the world through their gift of song. During this time over two thousand men have participated as a part of the group singing at churches, nursing homes, community events, Oktoberfest celebrations, Christmas concerts and special Dinner/Song festivals.

The Maennerchor has traveled internationally performing in Canada, the British Isles and throughout Europe. Highlight performances over the years include a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City and a Papal audience before singing during mass at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Rome, Italy.
