I admire your concern his excellency but sir this is a national crisis which has to be addressed from president,my 6 years in Dubai I never see truck on the road talk more of accident .they park behind even after loading until 10pm to 4:30

I don't see the reason why tankers and big trucks should even follow the same road as the small cars, let's say we don't have enough roads to channel them, then let them operate strictly at night. If the rules are not applied it will happen over and over again, just like a circle repeating itself. It's not hard, it's simple. It will shock the governor what a simple law can do.

The officials on the roads are not about safety. They are there for their pockets. Don't you know that ?

Nigeria need to recall all these tankers for a week of road worthiness text.Tankers should only drive a night and at reduced speed not during busy hours of the day.Nigeria need rules,regulations, order and control in almost every sector,the lack of these things is destroying the country.Everyone does anyhow,whatever the feel like.

There are many talented indigenous and non-indigenous scientists, and we need an indigenous technology-focused government parastatal to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and commercialization. This effort should include partnerships with both local and foreign investors. For instance, years ago, I came across published articles by an Igbo UN scientist detailing strategies for rearing Efi Igbo (native Igbo cattle). His work explored ways to improve meat quality and milk production through artificial insemination. Additionally, he proposed methods for building eco-friendly ranches specifically designed for Efi Igbo. With his research, foreign expertise would not be necessary to establish successful Efi Igbo ranches. The government could further support this initiative by providing low-interest or interest-free loans to Igbo ranchers interested in rearing Efi Igbo. There are many such examples showcasing the potential of Ndi Igbo to become leading innovators, technology incubators, and developers for commercialization-all starting right here in Enugu State.

Dear Governor.. thanks for the condolence. But then preventive measures can be taken. Just like most developed countries like Dubai where I lived for some years. These heavy trucks and tankers don't pligh on the road during the day (but from 11pm to 5am). Create Truck resting areas for them to stay while they wait. Resting areas are also some sort of revenue.

Even though this governor ascended office in a questionable manner, I have to say he has been the best governor Enugu State has had in the last 32 years. He has done more in two years than the past corrupt 6 governors did in their collective 32 years. I have listened to his various speeches, and I must say he's a very intelligent, methodical, and practical person. He speaks slowly, logically, and succinctly, and you can follow his intently practical thought pattern. On a side note, it's okay that he respects Tinubu but he shouldn't mingle with APC. Also, I hope he creates a submission portal at the Official Enugu State website for both Enugu State and non-Enugu State indigenes to submit ideas and proposals that can accelerate economic development in the State across all cadre in the society. Of critical importance is boosting indigenous production by both artisan and non-artisan individual workers and businesses. For example, hire all the indigenous road side flower and plant growers, give them contracts to beautify the circles (roundabouts) and maintain them. They'll hire people to help them with the work! Give grants to wheelbarrow makers, so they can boost production and diversity their wheelbarrow types to sell to other states in Nigeria and export to other West African countries. Pay attention to both indigenous agriculture, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals development in Enugu State. And so on.. Partner with a company to start automobile production in Enugu, so they can start making "4-Wheeled Keke" instead of the three-wheeled "toy" currently being used. Partner with a company to start making indigenous standard roadside vendor carts, for example for Akara sellers, etc. Such mobile carts should have cooking, washing, storing, and serving areas. Give partial grants to vendors to purchase them. The carts can also be sold across all states in Nigeria and to other West African countries. It is critical to start indigenous production in Enugu State. There are so many ways to boost the economy in Enugu State. CONGRATULATIONS so far!!!

Watching this left me feeling like a proud dad seeing his son progress because I voted and have defended Peter Mbah right from the start. Seeing the city I love so much which was destroyed by Gburugburu being restored to its glory gives me untold joy but I'm sad that I'm not there to see it physically. Kudos my Governor. Ya gaziere gi.
