Thank you for this awesome video. I never would have thought about using pushpins to hold the vinyl down. Do you have patterns for the vinyl pieces?
Could you please tell me where I can get the pattern from? Is there a link where I can download the pattern?
I am in the process of making a Biker Scout flak vest and am using Simplicity pattern S9128. You will have to make a couple minor changes but it is a good base to start with. Hopefully that will help.

There was serious debris. How often do you recommend doing that cleaning?
Great question! Depending on the amount of sewing being done... if you’re doing a ton of sewing you could clean every other week...if you’re not sewing that much I would at least oil the machine once a month

How do you get the boots on without being able to undo the entire lace of the desert boot?.
The top portion of the laces are still accessible. I don’t tighten the bottom portion of the laces so the foot can slip in.

Can you feel the pop rivet when it’s worn? And is it to hold the vinyl in place so as it cures it doesn’t move? I’m doing my boots and so I have all the questions lol
Depends how low into the sole it’s placed. I sometimes glue a foam/vinyl piece over the inside of the Rivet.
