It works I did it before but I forgot how to do it..this method works so for anybody having trouble you have to do it twice maybe 3 times and then wait for the 1st pop up then it will open...now here's the key point once it open repeat the process but drag the exec far to desktop and it will copy a white short cut sheet from there on you open final cut from that short cut no need to keep repeating this process I may do a video on it..hope this helps

but the services that are disable is set to manuall start?..becos if we encounter something...the window will promt us to manually start the services?...i used to disable certain services which i dont know wat it is...later when i was doing something or encounter a problem...it doent prompt me to start the services...and i dont know which service to start...

I use gparted or "USB stick formatter" under Mint 22 for this. You need to know wtf you're doing when using gparted. The reason for gparted is because I may wanna make a stick unusable on a Windows box thus I'd format it as a ext4 partition rather than fat32 or exFat. The huge advantage of ext4 over NTFS, fat32, exFat is that ext4 has rights at the file level the others do not. I doubt a Windows app can format anything as ext4.

This isn’t a good idea and isn’t going to help performance. There is a reason guides like this stopped showing up about 5 years ago. On a system with a HDD this can help reduce the drive IO after a reboot, but with an SSD it doesn’t matter at all. The mount of RAM and CPU saved by doing this is so negligible that not only will you never notice it, but you probably can’t even show an improvement using benchmarking tools.
