Since no one knew for certain who was responsible when this hijacking occurred, the media gave the unknown criminal that moniker. And it’s stuck ever since. However, this video doesn’t try to theorize on the hijackers real identity. It’s not questioned that there was an individual that did hijack that aircraft on that date. After he received the ransom, he demanded to be flown to Mexico City. During that portion of the flight he did parachute out of the aircraft. Never to be found again. These facts are not in dispute. To be saying to the author of the video “no idea what you’re talking about” is only the dispute of the actual identity of “D.B. Cooper” which was never discussed or questioned.

@@whois4592 I do like the romantic idea that DB not only survived the jump- but also lived out the rest of his life in happiness and wealth. That is a possibility, especially because like you mentioned no body was found. That fact makes it more likely. I don’t know how many people searching were put on this task at the time. (I imagine a lot:) but technology was nothing like today. If this occurred in 2023 there would be satellites and drones put to task. As someone that has a remote cabin in the Sierras, I am very aware of how easily a body (without modern technology) could be never found just a few miles off the beaten path. Bears, Mountain lions, weather, rough terrain- streams and rivers are all possibilities to me. But I hope he survived. Not because I like criminals. but because human life is more important than money😊
